It's a very handy thing to have, both for a potential mod (to see what timezones the players mostly live in) and also for other players (to understand why I disappear off for 12 hours at a time, for eg).

intuition and rereading the thread over and over . You won't catch my scum game with a spreadsheet .

Mind you in bigger games with strange players I should write something down TR Mafia is hard work for me
I was thinking that a Meta analysis of the words people use most when scum /town cross referenced with the number of posts and the length of posts might reveal Personal scum tells but then I thought you would have to add Timezone differences and roles to the data and That's a whole load of number crunching I can't be bothered with .
it's easier just to remember Raven talks too much when scum gonzo behaves like he is in charge of the town and DP is always scum (even when town)

Well I'm putting you on for good measure.
Spreadsheets are also useful for sharing such info.

I've never used a spreadsheet in a game. I'm like you, play by instinct. Which is why I get it wrong so often.

lol I talk too much no matter what my role. I've trained myself not to be too quiet when I'm scum. When I looked back on my first couple of games as scum, the drop in number of posts was amazing.

I know what my current tells are. I've found them extremely difficult to fix. maybe because I get so little practice at it due to being a statistical fluke.
