Simple Mafia 3.5

Post by oblivion » Mon Jul 12, 2010 6:03 pm

This is SIMPLE mafia. Town have been infiltrated by mafia scum who will kill you at night. You must find and lynch all the mafia scum before they overwhelm you.

Start lynching! And elect a mayor! The mayor will have an extra .5 vote, which can break any ties that may occur.

Among the living:

colubridae
zigmen
normal
feck
DP
ghatanothoa
Animavore
higgs2
Uselesstwit
Charlou
Magicziggy
Mantisdreamz

Deceased

None

...yet

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a no PM game. All gameplay should be in the day threads. Scum can communicate with each other at any time.

Do not edit your posts.

Do not quote or fake quote any communications from me.

To indicate a lynch vote use bold black text: vote oblivion
To indicate a mayor vote use bold blue text: vote oblivion

To indicate a vote change unvote; unvote

Each day will run for 24 hours. Each night will run for 12 hours.

That was rather quick off the mark feck. Any reasoning behind that?
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Code: Select all

// Replaces with spaces the braces in cases where braces in places cause stasis
   $str = str_replace(array("\{","\}")," ",$str);

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
