Re: Monopoly Final Results
well oblivion, I think you can put 'noble savage' down under your name, now.. we all know what you mean

Re: Monopoly Final Results
I'm not happy with my reads this game, but I am happy with most of my play. Being stuck with very littla access except the occasional cell phone post until late in day 1 had a big impact both on my in-thread demeanor and on my ability to read. I get a lot out of the ebb and flow of posts in a thread. checking timestamps just isn't the same.
I just want to point out that my vote on mantis early on day 1 was spot on.
I couldn't believe you guys thought that was a weak vote reason. irre, I imagine you're getting a feel this week for why that kind of stuff is key in TR mafia day 1.
I should listen to myself more.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Yep, you were right about mantis. I never thought mayor voting meant all that much. I'll be watching it more closely now.oblivion wrote:I'm not happy with my reads this game, but I am happy with most of my play. Re: Monopoly Final Results
reading the scum board, I was right to out when I did. I had a feeling that my wtf over the night kills didn't go unnoticed.

Re: Monopoly Final Results
would have been interesting to see what Aza did with my outing. He was in the Fallout game where I last did the noble savage thing. that was a tough role to partner with town, since I had to kill town players to win (including the seer and the PM enabler). This one was easy from that perspective, but hard because I wasn't playing a stellar game.

Sooo, I kept the seer view of Oblivion from night 1 until Day 3.
Irre pulled me up on it continually.

Re: Monopoly Final Results
I'm glad you viewed me. and I'm glad it was my choice when that was outed. but it was risky since you didn't know my night actions (if any) or my win condition. If I had planned to skate and pretend to be town, you would have been my n1 kill since you were the player who stood out to me on day 1 as a probable special.
Re: Monopoly Final Results
actually, I guess your surviving night 1 was the earliest indicator that I had committed to town, not that anyone knew that at the time. but the commitment was there, and you picked up on it.

Re: Monopoly Final Results
Although I didn't know until the night. It was a relief, because I knew I had no real experience of being a special.
I relied on my spat with Ani to see me through the night.

lol. good thing, then.
I was immune to day 1 lynch, but getting lynched on day 1 was the least of my worries!
