I think DP might be telling the truth but with the amount of wifom he would create later in the game if left in bothers me. Best we find out now if he is ballsy scum or not while we still have some wriggle room.

oblivion, the only truly indie roles I know well are jester and SK. What are some others?

indie roles are up to the imagination of the GM. there could be all sorts of alternate win conditions.

Also, Gib was scum in the last two games. While I understand that the roles are random, I'm inclined to think that he's more likely to be town this time which is more than I have for the rest of you so

DP, I think if I was in your situation I'd do the same thing, it sounds like an impossible role to play but as mentioned, it's not like we can trust your word in a game where doubt and paranoia are the main weapons at our disposal.

Though I do find it weird that you haven't just given up, I wouldn't even bother trying to defend myself in that situation.

Why give up? Why not try to survive with a difficult role? It's easy to play mafia as scum, or as vanilla town, it's slightly harder as a town special, it's nerve racking as an Indie, all my cards are on the table, so you guys get to decide what to do with me.

I'd be a serious liability at endgame if I hadn't outed. The seer thinking he's found scum and killing off a town player with 3 or 4 players left would be a disaster.

Maybe DP is the jester...

At one point DP had played scum for 85% of his games ,dice do not have memories , odds of being scum are the same for everyone every game .
