Given that I am the only one to respond negatively to your post I wouldn;t be so hard on yourself. I nothing about anything.

I know that your a learned fellow but i cannot see the benefit of sacrifice for either team, except to divert attention from a more valuable member of your team.

OK, the thread timelag is playing havoc with this conversation.
If nothing else, you now know about godkill. It was mentioned in other games on RatSkep that voting for yourself might be worthy of godkill also consistent failure to post over a number of days and also breaking the rules. So I was just saying that's all. I still can;t see what you will gain for your team. It's up to Oblivion and she seems like a very benevolant goddess. She wants us all to learn from playing these games so we can give her a run for her money.

last game I got lambasted for playing 'too ignorant'

I don't know what a godkill is Or a jester.

Do you guys make this shit up or is there a real set of rules?

my vote still stands. Why are you insensed about it?

Is there a complete set of characters and rules somewhere? :ddpan:

This may help, thought it is somewhat complex compared to the game we have going here.

I take from this that godkill is the GM killing someone for breaking the rules or doing somethng they don't like.
I checked your link and there is no mention of voting for oneself being against the rules.
But the way things operate, I can't be sure.

timelag definitely sounds like making an excuse. But why would you not like me selfvoting?

 Interesting play style there col. I have no idea what you are doing but:

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

You are right,"Godkill" is a GM kill and it's usually for breaking the rules in a way that could break the game, such as by posting one's role PM. Some games specify a minimum number of posts per day. If that minimum isn't met, then the penalty could be godkill. This game doesn't have a minimum post count requirement.

self-voting is not godkillable in this game.
