Why is that more logical than the explanation that a vig hit on oblivion or I added four points, and a scum hit on either one of us also added four points? I think the other points claimed to have been added and removed require a different explanation.divagreen wrote:See above, Feck, I had to reread for context.Feck wrote:OK not an indie SK but a scum killer role ,and I 'm not getting info I'm thinking ! Do the addition Diva Explain last night ? your town vigs hit town pretty fucking hard ?I never said there wasn't a Seer I just said there was a lot of roles without taking a Seer into account
I don't understand what you mean by a scum killer role. What I stated earlier was that I had a thought that someone had vig skill where they could redistribute points. Seems logical when you think about it...it explains the extra points and points removed, n'est-ce pas?

If I had a solid lead I would stick with them, but I really don't.
I was afraid we were going to wind up with no one under any real pressure at nightfall.
and I will say this, I don't think being at 4 or 5 points will put most town players under pressure. It's not bothering me, though it was a bit of a shock at daybreak.

Sorry Feck.

Playing two games .... up late .... I wish i'd had some sleep

OK two people got 4 points we assume there are 2 players that can do this probably one town one scum ?
Charlou is claiming Doc she says she was blocked ?
Now how do we account for the other changes in votes ? Because unless there are 2 other people that can up,or down votes then you are saying that a player can adjust votes both up and down on different players on the same night .
so the running total for specials so far is HOW MANY ?

Re: Timebomb Day 2
Feck, I'm thinking that a special can move votes from one player to another, perhaps based on the recipient, perhaps based on stealing someone's votes. In which case, my votes would be a prime candidate for theft. And a vote thief can be town, scum or indie. I've seen the role all 3 ways, though the mechanics were different. the thief chose whose vote to steal the night before. Then the following day, when they voted, the GM counted their vote and the stolen vote going where they directed. The person whose vote was stolen wouldn't realize.
Re: Timebomb Day 2
UT, can you explain a couple of things here ... which point was mentioned that isn't accounted for?Uselesstwit wrote:we know there is no sk, where did the idea of a roleblocker come from? the one that hit char is almost certainly scum. I think the points are fairly well accounted for, except for one and i wouldn't be horribly surprised if it was on aza.Feck wrote:well if Charlou is a town Doc and that works normally , and we have a vig (the 4 point thing ) what other roles do you think are out there to add or remove points , I thought about scum being able to an add a point each ,but surely that's unfair as each day/night scum would get 2 votes . Trackers seers etc all the info roles would work as normal but this single point stuff I don't understand ? For one thing If someone Removed points last night then we have a lot of roles in play .We have a doc a vig an Sk and a role blocker plus whoever added points and whoever removed points and that's without a Seer . I think some people have been lying about their points score !
And you raised to idea of a roleblocker on day one so why are you asking feck where the idea came from?
"the one that hit char is almost certainly scum" ... are you conflating the roleblock and points added as one scum move? Because I thought it was either a scum roleblock due to my outing*, and either an additional scum hit on me, or a vig hit on me that explained what happened to me overnight.
*My PM told me I was visited by someone who seems lovely .. there was no mention of whether that someone is town or scum, I've just made the most likely assumption based on the wording of the PM and the circumstances of the game atm.

We have a doc ... and we're assuming a vig ... a roleblocker, most likely scum ... so I think it's reasonable to assume a seer (who should not out unnecessarily - look at the position I'm in now) ... other than that, I've no idea ...Feck wrote:Playing two games .... up late .... Re: Timebomb Day 2
Shit OB that's going to make it impossible to work out ! and it gives scum too much power I'm seriously thinking that 2 players have an up vote and two players have a down vote maybe two on each side ???? But how many scum do we have ? because they seem powerful .
OR 2 players can move a vote from themselves to another player .
OR 2 players can move a vote from themselves to another player .

Re: Timebomb Day 2
No, I don't, but then I'd not think you'd make the thoughtless suggestions you made earlier if you're town, either. On balance (taking those pings and your protown behaviour into account) I'm still fairly confident you're town ... but they are pings, nonetheless, and I think worth noting.oblivion wrote:Am I understanding you? This game is hard work.
You had 4 points added.
Oblivion had 4 points added.
Didn't Bolero say she had 1 taken off?
UT has had some of his removed.
Gonzo says he had some removed.
Is this right?
The removals and the excessive points make me think of redistribution in lieu of excessive points assigned to scum.
And just to be clear, I did whatever Ob told me to do, because she seems the most townish (I have already stated this), I am really tired, but not quite ready to go to bed and I am still unsure of the dynamics of everyone.
Currently suffers from Cassandra's curse.
