I agree, I have not posted enough, but not because I'm not trying. Without a knowledge of the gameplay of the various players here, I'm having to rely too much on hunches. Also I have never been in a scum team. That being said, here's what I think of the few players
grit: Has constantly been providing analysis of the posting behaviour of the players and I agree with a lot of them too. But he is still in my FOS, as he had almost zero suspicion until now and was helpful to town yet the scum did not kill him. His tag teaming with gib is kind of sus. I've mentioned this before that if there are four members in the scum, one of them would be playing an active town role. This is the main reason why I think one or both of gib and grit is scum.

As far as UT goes, I initially had my doubts regarding his timing of irre's lynch vote, but now I'm inclined to believe his explanation. Don't have anything else on UT.

divagreen : I still have an FOS on diva for voting adnosine, and her interaction with higgs2. Neither of which helped the town in any way.
It's tough playing at a new site, the only thing that really bothers me about your play is that you seem awfully followy. And that's a tough one to kick because you're sitting there reading and agreeing with peoples posts and it's hard to find other things to say, especially when you don't know the people well. I actually like this post, it's clearly your own thoughts and you're not ducking your faults or flailing. It still looks like you're following me on my suspicions but you've looked for your own reasons for them.

That said, people not being killed isn't indicative of them being scum. Scum want our specials, especially the seer (if we have one which I'm starting to doubt a bit). Really top line players like aza(when he is actually paying attention) remaining alive can be an indication that other topline players need some cover to hide behind. being the only expert at endgame is rightly thought of as suspicious. being active also isn't a great reason to think someone is scum, most people try to copy their town game when they're scum. I say most because feck being super thoughtful in the startrek game only to be lighter and funnier this game set off a lot of wrong alarm bells. And he was town both games. Grit's activity level looks about right to me for his town game. It's his behavior and votes that have me concerned.

All that said, I still have you in my possible scum pile. That never been on a scum team comment really smells like you're protesting your innocence.

Of the two, who would you like to see lynched today?

To be fair, I have to agree with this.

DP, some rationale for your list would be helpful.

Just had a read over grit's ill fated kingmaker game at TR. He was a very chatty scummer there too and very focused on lynching the quiet ones. Mixed with the special hunting here it is enough for me.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

So you think gib won mayor in a landslide based on his charm and dashing good looks? Oh, that's right, you didn't vote gib mayor. You didn't vote at all for 2 days. That's not a timezone issue.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions if I really thought there were any.

As for the whole Indie thing, that's based on oblivion's posts as GM. She's the one who indicated a separation between we Deevils and a Klahd team. Yes, it could just as easily be 2-flavour town (similar to Elfquest, for example) and the group from Klahd appears most town-friendly. I just pointed out how the MythAdventures saga depicts Aahz, who DP has claimed to be since early Day 2, as a powerless special - a gifted daemon who's lost his gift and is constantly trying to get it back.

Hi gib. Me too, but things are not looking good for town this game. If you or UT are scum, then maybe they deserve to win. I'm still not buying that the rest of the scum team does... well, maybe Irre too, after all, it still looks like maybe she was killed by scum in a swap and not by a vig, unless the vig was one-shot.

I'm with UT on that - it now looks like we Deevils have no vig or Seer.

Fuck it, I doubt I'll survive the night anyway so might as well share what I have, was hoping for one more view.
I am Aahz, I'm the seer.
Night 1 I viewed diva, she's scum.
Night 2 I viewed irre, came back as town but she was killed thankfully.
Night 3 I viewed azathoth, he's town.

Sorry for not viewing the mayor but aza is dangerous as scum and his quietness was bothering me.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

The top and bottom were based on views, the rest of it was just gut feeling.
