That's an interesting play. I hadn't thought of that one.

If we think you are a liability to the game, we will take you at your word and lynch you.
I was new and clueless once (I know, I know!) but after three games I think you may have picked up enough of the gameplay to know that what you have done is a no no.
Each player has an individual style. Mine is pretty straightforward. I post what is in my head and wait and see what happens.
The participants enjoy these games because they get a chance to try out the behaviourial analysis that they perform every day, sometimes with disasterous results. Its risk free mind reading. If you are scum, then you have some very unhappy teammates. And this is a team game. And if you are town and on my team, then I am disappointed. However, I think you can talk your way out of this if you give it some thought.

Nope whatever the state of play is at end of day my post stands.
My sacrifice may reveal stuff.

What I am interested in is reactions. You obviously don't like my post.
scum must cause confusion. town must cause clarity.

I definitely consider it a team game. and i am 2 for 2. (teamwise) This is my third game.

If you are godkilled you will be 2/3 whatever the result. I think voting for yourself is a no no. I may be wrong. I've not been in a game where it's happened.

I could, but I'd prefer not to for a couple of reasons.

I like being anonymous to any other players who might be here from the other site. Why? Well, my "normal" gameplay has been going through some refinements, and this is a good place to attempt my new style. As you can imagine, slight alterations to gaming style can set off alarms. Out of fairness to me and my success on the other site, I respectfully decline.

But, since you do deserve to know what my style is like, picture a cross between MagicZig and Feck.

I post way too often, and too long like Zig, and I'm also prone to protect/attack other players like Feck.

If it becomes a big deal, I would link you to my other games, but I'd prefer not to.

It's something I've only heard about in mafia mythology.

Col's post would not (should not) cause a godkill.

I have voted for myself as a tactic in a previous game. It ended up failing as a tactic, though.

It can be done succesfully, I'd imagine, though I fail to see how on day one in any game with simple rules. There is a role called "jester" who can actually win if they get killed on day one. I assume this game has no such role.

Are you talking Feck today because that's not Feck. That's New Feck, Feck II or Son of Feck.
And I'm nothing like this.

Oblivion has listed potential specials on the first post. Jester is not one.

Godkill is when a GM kills a player; typically for a blatant rule violation.

For example, if you were caught posting your role PM, editing your posts, etc., Oblivion could just kill your character outright.

It's rare, but i have seen one player post a role PM in the thread, and get godkilled on daybreak of day one in the next couple of games, even though there were different GMs in each game.

last game I got lambasted for playing 'too ignorant'

I don't know what a godkill is Or a jester.

Do you guys make this shit up or is there a real set of rules?

my vote still stands. Why are you insensed about it?

Is there a complete set of characters and rules somewhere? :ddpan:

Ok-its not on the first post, its in peanuts

There may be some special town roles. If there are, they will be restricted to the following kinds of roles: investigative, protecting, blocking, killing.

There may be some special scum roles. If there are, they will be restricted to the following kinds of roles: don (views as town), blocking.
