the doctor traditionally prevents the player from being killed, but doesn't prevent a role block from happening.

I can't think offhand of a game where the doctor worked that way, unless it was a jailor/paranoid doc variant.

this is supposed to be a standard set up, so protecting me would prevent my kill, but not prevent me from being role-blocked.

Nelli, of all the outed specials, DP is the least rock solid. He could be scum, and simply refrained from a NK and then claimed doc. It would be a risk to do so, but it's possible.
You're all defending OB and MZ saying no-one has counter claimed but now you come up with DP as the least reliable, Irre, because he could be lying. But nothing indicates that DP isn't doc whereas there is a plausible scenario that MZ and OB could be in cahoots together. What's your game, Irre?

If the MGP lands on utilities, scum cannot be killed. But still worth going through with the kill to test the theory.

With all this immunity floating around, is it possible that the vig has struck out twice?
What, we have a vig now? When and how was that decided?

damnit I got that backwards. a paranoid doctor both protects and role blocks the target, not protects the target from a role block

And where did you get the information about scum's utilities being safe while the mgp is on them, MZ?

I read the rules example of Utilities (scum) as being just that - an example of what the play would be if Utilities were scum and MGP landed on them.

I would prefer a vote on our most likely Don today so that a view actually means something.
My candidates remain:

Irre, Feck, Charlou, Mantis

I'm thinking that Nelli and Squid are not likely.

The only other assumption I'm making is that DP is who he says he is.

crosspost with Charlou.

I'm not saying there is a vig. Just struck me as a lot of immunity from kill floating around.

crosspost with Charlou again

The rules state that if the MGP lands on electric or water (utilities) scum is immune from the kill.

Ok, got it. Scum have electricity and water works and maybe one or two others. But they also have a safe claim property from the board.

I think he's saying that since there is a good chance for people to become immune that there might be a vig in there as well.

I still take it as a vig to have only one shot. and that shot, if there was one - was probably used on mono. He died by single bullet.

though no one has come out...

my roll of the die tweak has nothing to do with my view. That was going to happen on night 2 if I were alive.

From what I got from the safe claim info, my tweak is similar to town's. there are positions the MGP can land on that will give me immunity to kill.

I'm kinda hoping I get lucky tonight.
So where did you view come from then?
from my role PM. I was told that I was immune to lynch on day 1, had a night kill every night, and would get a view on night 2. And I was given some info about rolls that would give me immunity, but I'm not going to share that, because the only people who care whether I am immune or not are scum.

In my role PM I was admonished to use my one-time view wisely. I hope I did.

Erm, you are the one who trusts only one person in this game. I am just pointing out that if you trust DP you by extension should absolutely trust MZ and oblivion (oblivion, insofar as she is an indie).

MZ, why have you removed nelli and squid from your list? Particularly squid, who hasn't been around today?
