Where is this so-called change of heart? Who else did I look at? More lies and misrepresentation.oblivion wrote:Today, mantis accepted that I was an indie and my role specifics. This was before MZ outed. She assumed that I'd gotten protection from the doc.
This didn't seem all that strange at the time. I kinda figured most of town would see it as the most straightforward explanation of the night's events and my reasons for outing in the first place.
But after watching Charlou, Irre and Nelli either dismiss it out of hand or assume it was some kind of conspiracy between me and people who had outed as specials, I kinda wonder.
But, there's something else that bothers me. Charlou didn't make any explanation for her change of heart regarding lynching me. It looked like when Irre suggested I should get a chance at one more night action, she just turned on a dime like she knew the numbers weren't there for my lynch, so it was time to look at someone else.

yeah, I figured that out with MZ's help and retracted it.
vote charlou
this is not pro-town. scum needs to drive a wedge between town and me, because my night kill has to stop.
I'm in the middle of cooking. go ahead and keep up the character assassination. If you win, then town and scum can settle it on your own. and I'm sure scum will be delighted.
Re: Monopoly Day 3
Character assassination? I hope you mean that within the context of the game, and No, it's not character assassination, it's setting a few things straight. If I'm to be lynched I want people to remember where I pointed out the misrepresentation of my gameplay. I've thought from day one that your and MZ's play were odd but, as I said at the time, didn't want to mention your names because I thought it possible one or both of you might be specials. The story you came out with yesterday, oblivion, might have been believable if you hadn't included the 'I can view someone tonight' line. I still don't believe you and my vote has not changed. I think you're scum.

charlou, I was equally underwhelmed by oblivion's role claim...charlou wrote:Character assassination? ...but today, we have three people who've outed, no counter claims, and their claims tie up the night's events nicely... if oblivion and MZ were in cahoots, then the game would be seriously unbalanced, because town would have no seer or vig. It just wouldn't add up.

if MZ and DP want me to unvote I will. I'll check back in a little while. hands are full here.irretating wrote:erk... the spread of votes leaves me feeling uneasy...

Re: Monopoly Day 3
Charlou, please see the logic of me outing as seer when I did to allow for counter claims.
I viewed Ob. She's indy. I viewed Mantis. She's town.
We all have role tweaks. Therefore I can quite believe that Ob had a night 2 view.
Your unwavering dismissal of the facts echo my own bluff last game when I was scum.
I did that purely to muddy the waters and maybe get some traction with one player.
I would certainly put Irre/Charlou as another possible combination and will reconsider my vote in due course.

Re: Monopoly Day 3
Well Irre - even if Oblivion is an Indie, I think its best to have her go rather than misvote for a town when I'm not sure about scum. The only thing I feel confident of is DP being Doc. Mantis looks good to me too, but the rest is just a fog. That's why I'm happy to have Oblivion go - I have caught out two irregularities with her - rather than a town.
Feck is probably a special/scum too 'cause he knew the "one hour before" rule.

If oblivion is an indie and all the roles have outed why wasn't there a scum NK last night?

Re: Monopoly Day 3
The other thing I was careful to do during my bluff was to not mention any other player apart from Charlou and Jynx.
Charlou, because I was accusing her of lying.
Jynx, because when I was eventually lynched, Charlou's info cleared him.
I was very careful not to mention any other player.
I need to re look at Charlou's posts and see who she has been fossing.

I disagree on oblivion being better gone. Last night we could have had her kill a townie, plus scum could've killed a townie, and we'd be two people down.nellikin wrote:Well Irre - even if Oblivion is an Indie, I think its best to have her go rather than misvote for a town when I'm not sure about scum. MZ, I fear you are trolley tracking on me.
I'm not going with an oblivion lynch vote today, nor an MZ or DP one. Nor an irre one. The others, we can discuss.

Re: Monopoly Day 3
Because scum clearly tried to kill oblivion (as scum would) and DP protected her. It just all ties together. It seems unpalatable, but that's what fits.charlou wrote:If oblivion is an indie and all the roles have outed why wasn't there a scum NK last night?

Re: Monopoly Day 3
It does fit, but it also fits that she is scum and bussed gib, just as well. And why would scum try to kill Ob instead of a town player? They win when town is gone, and OB doesn't have to mean anything to them. They are wasting a kill if they go for OB, especially given the fact that Ob already contributed to killing a few town players...
