I'm arguing that gib placed his vote to hide it, rather than save squid. How is that trolley tracking?

Today, mantis accepted that I was an indie and my role specifics. This was before MZ outed. She assumed that I'd gotten protection from the doc.

You misunderstood. I was saying that the doc, themselves would *know* whether or not you were lying. I almost thought that Charlou might have been the doctor because of her persistent behaviour. And that she knew that she had protected someone else.

Then again, even if she wasn't, I guess the doctor could still have protected you, while being scum - and the whole thing could have flown.

But, there's something else that bothers me. Charlou didn't make any explanation for her change of heart regarding lynching me. It looked like when Irre suggested I should get a chance at one more night action, she just turned on a dime like she knew the numbers weren't there for my lynch, so it was time to look at someone else.

I wondered if she was going to come and explain that further. It does seem like a bold move to do if she was scum.... though, not out of the question. Ob, I think you tend to work a lot for the game whether you are scum or town. Makes it tough to distinguish between the 2.

say that after you see me play a scum game again. The spooks game was a long time ago, and I was able to do stuff in that game that I ordinarily can't simply because I was an unknown quantity.

one thing that bothers me about Irre. I mentioned it on day 1. She brought my name up a lot, as a throwaway at the end of her posts, but didn't ever really press me on day or or on day 2. I don't believe for a minute that the offness of my game escaped her.

yeah. I dunno. usually I get useful info from how people react to me. the reactions to my surviving last night kinda blew me away, and I don't know how to interpret them.

From my perspective, my outing worked. I got the doc's attention and he protected me, and both my kill and my view went through. Added bonus - no scum kill. that's a win for both town and me. I can't be anything but delighted that my crazy plan worked.

I'm finding it mighty weird that town is going around in circles with three specials outed (uncontested), two seer views (of which one of those two has to be town), and no vig to throw any spanner into the works.

I'd be happy to vote one of squid or mantis.

Oblivion, I err on the side of ultra caution with regards to you, to avoid trolley tracking. You didn't ping as scum to me on day 1, and you had connectivity issues plus I served up a good amount of pressure on you. I didn't believe you initially, when you outed, and didn't think you'd be any good for town if you were legit. The night's activities, combined with MZ and DP outing, all tie your story together, and you were good for town. If you think I'm scummy because I'm not baying for your blood right now, so be it.

Oblivion - your very long quoting of people's posts looks rather like a smoke-screen to me. It is just too confusing to read through this and try to get your meaning out of it, especially when you misuote: Even more so when you misquote:

yeah, I agree with the where the heck is charlou right now... I am most keen to see if she's accepted Occam's on this whole deal, and if so, who she thinks is scum.
