She competely missed the point about the fact that if the king doesn't execute before the deadline, the king is lynched.
I think we can assume that Ani was onto this. I still think Ani is town.

Ani wanted the kill to happen. I don't know if he knew I was about to get myself killed instead. His reply about that earlier in this thread seemed a little off, like it caught him by surprise.

I just re-read gib's contributions and he looks town to me.

I'm back on Morticia.

when you compare gib's posts to mort's posts prior to tonight there's a pretty stark contrast. Like I said, being a prime lynch candidate focuses the mind. But, it does so whether you are town or scum, it's not really a tell either way.

Gib has played an aggressive scum hunting game and voted Irre last night.

Mort is the next in line for me. Then Feck.

A lot seems to hang on who is killed tonight.

Mort is a big question mark and it's very late in the game to be trying to figure out question marks. I'm not confident that she is scum, but I am also not comfortable waiting another day to see if her level of participation stays up and see if we can get a better read. I don't get that great a read of Mort at the best of times, lately. Maybe that's my failing.

as far as who looks objectively scummy, I dunno. I go back and forth now.

gib's a newish player whose game is developing by leaps and bounds. could his scum game be this good? maybe.

Jynx got the Irre seal of approval as well as having made sure I got my kill in on time on day 2. I don't know if Irre's behavior was scum sucking up to a town player who had other suspects lined up or not. I tend to think it's in his favor, though.

Feck plays a tricky and bold scum game. I recall mentoring Mort in her first game at ratz. She was scum with Feck. sifaka (scum) had been viewed on the last night of the game, and I fully expected feck to bus her. Instead he talked town into lynching the seer (Charlou). He has an "aw shucks" demeanor, but IMO he's an extremely good scum player.

mantis killed irre. the majority of town support was for an irre execution, and if she's scum it might have looked too dangerous to go against that. but the irre kill is a mark in her favor as town.

And MZ. He, like irre, has been quietly pointing up the wifom I represent at this point without actually coming out and pushing me on specifics about my gameplay. I wasn't really noticing it before tonight's reread of Irre's posts. Irre was so blatant about it that it was hard for me to really focus on anyone else's wifom efforts. most of the rest of the players who have expressed doubts about me are just dealing with it - looking at my record, not dwelling on it non-specifically. I dunno how good a weather vane my wifom trail actually is, but it was the final piece of evidence that made me completely comfortable with irre's execution.

and tbh, I have also been quite up front about the wifom I generate, and usually am. I prefer to drag it into the middle of the room and let the cat sniff it, rather than react to it when someone else tries to play it up.

this may be my last post before day 5. good luck town.

agh. didn't say who I'd execute if it were me. the answer is a waffle-y "Mort". I'd kill her simply due to the uncertainty she represents at endgame, and then I'd get ready for a white knuckle final day.

Thanks for reminding me of that game OB I was freaking Awesome  it is a little bit distracting thought from the current game to be constantly under suspicion because I play a good scum game occasionally.

Yeah, well. I am under the constant shadow of the virtuoso scum game you guys imagine I play, since most of you have no idea how I actually play as scum.

You at least are carrying around a reputation that you earned.

Ooh, if it was me, I'd definitely leave you alive after that.

I have tried to suppress the urge to wifom your aliveness. I think, successfully.
It bobs up from time to time.

vote Mort, in case I don't get an actual chance to vote.

It's true that Irre made no bones about how very odd it was that I am alive. it was a great cover for the parallel question about why she was alive. If I'm alive on day 5 (and I will be very surprised if I am) then my suspicion list will change drastically, based on who is killed instead of me.
