Bili, do you think you're onto a conspiracy? DP and who, for example?

If so its pretty hamfisted, wouldn't you say? It just seems odd to on the one hand point out how scummy a behaviour usually is, then blatantly disregard that and support the player. IOW, DP has my attention at the moment, but day one people usually crawl all over people who post, which selects for quieter scum long term.

What do you make of that sequence?

That, combined with his vote on Irre for her "glittery post" (what does that even mean?) made me almost go ahead and put a vote down on him.

He took great pains to say this was what he was going to do before roles went out, so I'm not overly concerned at the moment. But at this stage everyone is an open question.

I think I get what he means about "glittery"--Irre's "ME ME ME" post encapsulates it IMO.

I can't read DP at all. I am looking to Irre to get a read on him that I can trust. So I am going want to watch Irre to see if I can trust her. I think she will view as town no matter what her alignment. But one thing I have noticed about Irre is that she is far more likely to try something new (like self-vote as mayor) when she is town rather than when she is scum. So I am leaning town on her. But I want her as mayor so that her votes and actions will be in the spotlight.

The mutual soft protection looks like Irre trying to bridge between DP and you. I am not sure about DP.

What is honestly bugging me is that Aza felt the need to poin it out when I have seen Aza himself do this. He is acting like he has never seen this before and therefore it kind of looks to me like is distancing himself in a subtle way while seeming active. It also sets up for a genral tone of future suspicion; he can point later and say, "that looked scummy" when it just looks like the usual d1 'everyone trying to stick out their feelers and see what happens' to me.

There is a difference between poking a quiet one with a vote later in the day and a the first couple of pages being nothing but random votes. No discussion, nothing

I am less concerned aboout those and more concerned about the shoddy reason votes. For instance, what do you think of Gonzo's reason for voting Irre? Especially considering he self-mayor voted in the Russian Roulette game? He was town in that game. I have a big fat FOS on him at the mo.

and get a read from the type of flail you gave. Flybys are always ropy looking. Gonzo has a tendency to chatter more as scum though. I will reserve judgement on him for now

what is the objective difference between floating the idea of a conspiracy because you are scum and what to see if town will fly with it .AND

Diva and DP cannot both be scum ...I know DP at least is not going to banter overly with a team member on day one .
early day one votes for me ?a bit of a soft vote but also normal Ratz day one ...Random drive-bys? Good anything is better than your first post being "just checking in /bookmarking /Hi Guys" etc

Hhhh...not neccssarily. He didn't in the EQ1 game and was lynched for being too quiet. I believe MZ called that one. In fact, he did a drive by post and that was kind of it.

Bit early to be thinking don, but I share a reluctance to trust someone who self votes with a "lolz whynot?" Scared me when sparklecat self voted last TR game for this reason--and because I wanted her king for my SOOPER DOOPER purposes.

no because I've seen Scum dons take the risk and self vote ..Gonzo knows how messy a scum mayor can be !
