Again with the bigging up of my game. I get it now; it is logical. This is the difficulty you have with relative reads with new people--you need to be confident that the others have enough experience with my meta for your arguments to stick. So, you are planting the seeds now in the hopes they bear fruit later. FWIW, I have you in the nearly cleared town column.oblivion wrote:affirmativeness. I'm still waiting for an answer to my question about gib on page one BTW.

How about some quid pro quo? I would like to know about gib's usual scum game please. Whereas he played a pro town game, two things stand out. One, his unreasonable expectation of answers of people without offering the same in kind to questions posed of him. Two, when push came to shove in the voting in terms of building a bandwagon, he abdicated. That seems out of character from what I had seen up to that point.
My point is that you broke your pattern of play at that point. Faced with a committment, you bailed.

Why the late re-vote on Denny yesterday, k? Or is that a question anyone can answer without a bunch of wifom? All those latish pile-ons pinged for me, but most of those folk I'm leaning town. I just think there's got to be a scum in there somewhere.ksen wrote:Wait . . . waht?oblivion wrote:primary suspects: divagreen, irretating (based upon azathoth's intimations of impending mortality) and ksen.

I revoted Denny as soon as I read Aza's explanation so I don't know what you mean by "late" re-vote. If it weren't for grit's fuck up I wouldn't have moved my denny vote at all.grit wrote:Why the late re-vote on Denny yesterday, k? Or is that a question anyone can answer without a bunch of wifom? Connectivity was fine, but I am in and out of the thread throughout the day for various reasons. In this case the thread blew up and it took a bit to get a handle on what was going on. That said, I'm generally suspicious of dramatic late game day events, and grit wasn't acting like someone who partially broke the game.grit wrote:bili stayed pretty firm on Denny yesterday, but I'll have to go look again and see if it was an offline issue.
Re: Starfeet Day 2
Hey gib. Why did you decide to put irre into the strongly town column yesterday? She is still a front runner in my suspicious category.

interogative addressing bilirubin and gib: Who has earned your greatest suspiciousness? why?
aside for grit: I have a town vibration regarding you, but I found your suspicons last night extremely reactive, and in at least one case totally incorrect.
fact-based cases, rather than emotional reactions to the fallout of an unfortunate mistake are necessary.

Which simply seemed an easy follow of gib by you to me (your initial vote, that is). By "late" I mean one of the last. Those last voters knew Denny was a dead man. But, yeah, I could be reading too much into it, which is why I asked.ksen wrote:

Everyone from Aza on. It was one of the reasons I thought Aza might be scum, but he flipped town. I tried to vet Irre and Aden a bit last night, and they both seemed to do quite well. ksen, eh...? But, no, he's not high on my list. I just count him as a good player and would like to be able to draw more of a distinction between town and scum in my mind.oblivion wrote:particularizing interogative: which latecoming votes most concern you?grit wrote:Why the late re-vote on Denny yesterday, k? It's just I think there's got to be a scum on the Denny wagon.
Re: Starfeet Day 2
I'm about to head to a 2 hour long meeting, but the short of it: diva has stepped into the forefront for me in consideration of yesterday given what we know now. Irre remains on my suspicious list, for the tells identified yesterday, and for the manner in which she noticeably relaxed yesterday/night when the pressure was off. After that, I would place ksen, but that is a gut feeling and I am always suspicious of him at TR, and Mantis.oblivion wrote:interogative addressing bilirubin and gib: Who has earned your greatest suspiciousness? why?

To be honest I'm still trying to sort out you and gib. You're either town's best assets or town's greatest weakness, as far as I can tell, and I keep going back and forth on what's there.oblivion wrote:interogative addressing bilirubin and gib: Who has earned your greatest suspiciousness? why?

^ I just played a scum game where I seemed the most viable townie in the game, so maybe it's just fresh on my mind.

what behaviors, decisions, or attributes strike you as the asset side of the equation? and what appear to be weaknesses?
there is an appealing personableness to your reply.
