If we really think Charlou is scum, it's probably better to get her out of the game today. It will leave the last scum (who we think is a n00b) a little bit adrift.

I'd really like for others to have a look at this and talk about it, though. I am still not really trusting my gut.

I'm reviewing things relating to Mantis.

DAY 1
So, MZ puts the first mayor vote on her. She appears not long after and mayor votes aza (earning her a lynch vote from oblivion). Then gib puts a mayor vote on her. Note: puts a mayor vote, not a lynch vote:

Higgs then puts a lynch vote on mantis (could this be the reason mantis was all too happy to lynch higgs later on).

mmm, the Ziggy-Jynx thing looks like we've been there before. MZ seems to go by the precedent that this is Jynx's town game. You mentioned it as well, Irre - but, I'm not that convinced, in general. I remember an Ani scum game before, and he had us all tricked. I doubt that MZ and Jynx are both scum though.

We have to hear more from nellikin. Charlou and mono as well.

I find it suspicious that higgs comes along and follows on oblivion's reasoning (which seems like a real stretch to me), and puts a vote on for me. Could be that you're not feeling well higgs (hope you get better)... but, still.

It seems like it's gotten to the point where we all assume that Charlou lays low on the first few days. But, I don't like this excuse. It makes it for allowing her to skirt by without much, whether town or scum.

Charlou, I would like to hear your opinions!

Also, same with mono as well. It always seems like a coin toss with you. You are very difficult to read.

MZ hassles her a bit for bringing a pressure vote so late in the game day.

Hmmm it could read either way. On reread I get the sense that mantis is cosying up to me, given I couldn't see why oblivion went after her. She is quick to agree with everything I say.

Err, I voted for Jynx. I wanted pressure on him, given the shenanigans with MZ. I then decided it was his usual town game and didn't want him lynched.

Today, mantis accepted that I was an indie and my role specifics. This was before MZ outed. She assumed that I'd gotten protection from the doc.

This didn't seem all that strange at the time. I kinda figured most of town would see it as the most straightforward explanation of the night's events and my reasons for outing in the first place.

But after watching Charlou, Irre and Nelli either dismiss it out of hand or assume it was some kind of conspiracy between me and people who had outed as specials, I kinda wonder.

But, there's something else that bothers me. Charlou didn't make any explanation for her change of heart regarding lynching me. It looked like when Irre suggested I should get a chance at one more night action, she just turned on a dime like she knew the numbers weren't there for my lynch, so it was time to look at someone else.

Something else I hadn't thought about... who would choose mono to scum kill?!?! He'd most likely be lynched the next day. If mantis was don, she'd have been very happy to keep me alive (I wasn't seeing anything scummy about her and I don't tend to read her well), and by extension, oblivion (because oblivion and me tend to go hammer and tongs). With mantis as don and a newer player as fellow scum, I could see mono being suggested and NK'd. With charlou don? I really can't see mono being NK'd. I'm going to read mono's posts now...

I want everyone to consider Irre/Feck.

This is the least likely combination on evidence. I wonder why.

Irre's performance yesterday now feels just like that. A performance.

Feck is the perfect foil. She pushed him first day.

These two in combination would be deadly.

I don't get the feeling Nelli is scum from her posts.

The same goes for squid.

That leaves Mantis and Charlou.

I'm leaning heavily towards Irre/Feck.

Irre's performance grated at the time.
Then she came back all soft and sweet.

And she put in the extra hours.

It's been at the back of my mind for some time that she has voted him on Day 1.
This could be a way to get the seer to view him.
I'll be viewing her as it stands.

I shall be in and out today.
I will listen to all sides.
I'm not fixed on this.
