Irre, I can only say that when I got the role, my first thought was hold out until I find scum. If I find town, leave a trail.
When I got Oblivion = Indy, I was in a quandry. And it was unknown territory anyway.

There was Oblivion, definitely off her game. But she was pusinh and probing for scum. If I outed her, we'd lose that, so I held off. I was always going to leave a trail before the end of the night anyway. I even came up with kiss Oblivion as an anagram for Oblivion is sk. In the end I opted for listing all players with my best guess at town and scum with question marks next to there names, except mine. And I was going to put Oblivion in a neither category with no question mark. So I had thought it through. But I didn;t want to send out any signals that would get me nk'd.

So DP claims he's the doc and says he protected oblivion ... So what? DP's claim, even if true, means nothing wrt to whether oblivion is an indie or scum.

It actually doesn't much matter whether oblivion is an indie or scum, she's not town. If she's lynched and flips scum, I'll not be surprised .. and if she flips SK, that's good for town too .. Either way we're rid of the non-town WIFOM.

I've read the entirety of day 2.

I can't get past that MZ supposedly knew all day that oblivion was not town, and said not a thing. Not a single thing.

Also, oblivion led gib to considering higgs2, and when he happily latched on, oblivion puts the first vote on higgs, quickly followed by gib. All very convenient, wot? Higgs would be seen as a bigger scumhunting threat than squid (who was up for lynching otherwise).

oblivion, DP and MZ are the 'cleared' team, eh? So, who are you going to vote for?

Yes indeed. Now that I've kind of calmed down a little, I can see how Charlou's reaction could be, as you said, confused town.

Charlou hasn't mentioned me which is odd because she can spot my town game better than you all.
MZ I think I trust although role claiming was mentioned in the last game we were scum it was discussed as a last ditch flail .

DP's claim ..I tend to believe with reservations (I can also see a way for it not to be true )
Ignoring players MZ and Ob have cleared for the moment I think either Squid or Nelli are noobish scum I'm tending towards Nelli .

Yes, but she took out a scum. Why not leave her on the payroll while she's helping.

I'm thinking mantis is don...fits with gib mayor voting her, oblivion's scumdar going off, her voting higgs to save squid. Occams says it is mantis and squid. If we try squid today and he is scum, then we are plain sailing.

I did make a brief mention yesterday that I thought you were playing a town game. I haven't changed my mind about that.

I've seen DP do something similar before at Ratskep.
I'd made a clarion call for specials to trust me. I think I was one.
The next day he told me by pm he'd protected me. (it was a pm game)
And he was the doc. He'd been invisible for two days prior.
Very similar really.

You sure? It was after my bedtime, two votes were on squid. Ob asked gibb about higgs, gib jumped, then ob voted closely followed by mantis. I could be wrong and some momentum had built for nelli.
