Would you prefer I gifted a boomerang (to switch players) or a divining rod (for another seer view) to someone I consider a townie tonight?

I think either would be fine, wouldn't it? What does the boomerang do, though? Those two switched players find out each other's roles? That'd be helpful. Then again, if you got it wrong and accidentally gave it to scum, they'd surely just pick two scum teammates to switch, and then all three would claim innocence, right?

The boomerang is to have people switch places i.e. if someone switched you and zigmen, then a scum kill attempt on you would kill zigmen instead. It could be used to protect UT or feck, for eg.

Here's my suggestion:

1. The boomerang and divining rod can both with high probability ensure another view, so they're about equally powerful. Don't reveal which of the artifacts you give away.

2. Give it to one of Feck, UT, MZ, Athene, MSG.

3a. If you decide to give away the boomerang, it's user should use it to swap UT with somebody.

3b. If you decide to give away the divining rod, it's user should remember that the most important thing is to view uncleared players who are likely to be alive the next day (and preferrably endgame).
