The Mantis/Durro/Feck/Redial/Twinkie/Ghatanothoa plan is mine - get your own.
Think one up. It's easy. Just follow the Durro school of Gonzo Mafia game play - sucker punch, bob and weave, keep em guessing....

I'm sorry. It seems that our specials, several of them, have come out and publically told their role. Of course, some of them could be lying, but I haven't seen any counterclaims, meaning someone who also claims the role.

In my experience, which is not vast, specials don't do this so early in the game, as they want to be able to perform their role as long as possible. Especially the doctor and the vig, I can't see a good reason to come out. The seer can leave clues on their views that can make sense once they are killed and everyone knows they are seer. Seers often claim their role, but usually a little later than day 3. I think the person claiming seer named town, is that right? That is not as useful to town as identifying scum, in my opinion.

You're right, the real specials could hold back and hope the imposter gets killed. I haven't played enough to know if this happens much. In my experience false claim are usually not made because they're so easy to disprove or at least throw suspicion on. I have seen false claim though. lol sometimes they are pretty funny
