you did pretty good in the Simpsons game.
It gets harder to be creative once you have a reputation .. if I write more than 2 lines of an explanation then people just assume I'm trying to fool them .
and I could bus a team member but only if it was close to end game and I was sure it would work

Something about Irre has just pinged...

She's feeding into the established fosses.
I know she's been on Mort before, but just a little confirmation that Feck is capable of doing what he did as scum.
I think ultimately we're all capable of anything if we put our mind to it. But setting ourselves up for needing to defend ourselves on Day 1 doesn't seem like a valid scum strategy.

Feck has deomonstrated good endgame play as scum.
It's a completely different ballgame at the beginning though.

MZ, scum have had to improvise in this game. If you wound up the scum king on day 1, think about it. If you are like me, it was a fucking stressful not quite 24 hours. and that's TOWN stress. a scum player on day 1 would be under HUGE stress, and it would be very attractive to end the game day, take out a strong no-show before they have a chance to show up, and get out from under the microscope.

Like my strategy, if I were scum, would have been to feign democracy and let town choose one of their own to lynch. And then play around with how long there was till the end.
But in a way, that's what you did with the mononoke lynch. Granted, he really did look scummy.

MZ, how am I feeding into established FoS's? I'm FoSing oblivion, that's not an established one (except from mono and zigmen, both now dead).

As for Feck, if I were king I wouldn't execute him. I just acknowledge his super evilness, generally.

It was easy for me. Town opinion roughly matched my own. All scum have to do as king is latch on to one town player under pressure and look for a back up if that one is looking iffy.

Mantis, I was using my play as an example of how my play could be regarded as a "scum stratgey" instead of what it was, which was town flying by the seat of their pants.

I can hope.

I think I'm done. this kind of holds together in my mind. and it makes as much sense to me as Irre or Mantis being scum.

we've all pretty much acknowledged that Ani is town. We can consider that he has tried to put at least a little pressure on each king to kill a particular person and end the game day early. does that level of involvement make sense? consider that many players have seemed semi-engaged at best. this game format feeds into a town sense of inevitability and powerlessness. Nothing is in our hands unless we are chosen to be king, so it's apparently easy to just not show up and play much.

Well you'll know in a few hours what it feels like and you can weigh up each of the preceeding kings performances, as we will yours.

And in answer to Oblivion, I feel perfectly engaged in this game as a non-king.
