Does this happen regularly? Might it be because players are a bit tired from the previous game? In a way I get that - I get really excited toward the end of games, and then there's this foggy kind of after-game ennui thing.Zigmen wrote:Extending signups for about 12 hours. Need a few more players.
Whatever you need to do, I'm cool with it. This weekend would have been better, because I'm not working (one weekend on/one weekend off), but anytime this week for the debut is also OK for my sked.

I'm away for most of this week and won't be back until next Monday.

AFAICS, sign ups tend to be open long here, maybe because the pool of players is not so large.amok wrote:Does this happen regularly?
I won't have time to play this week and I need a little break from Mafia.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Actually I did look at the sign ups and didn't see your name which is why I didn't recommend you to Veteran , DP .

Also TR just finished the epic South Park game, and signups are hot there for Homo Zapiens and the upcoming Centennial game. A lot of crossover in the player pool.Linus wrote:AFAICS, sign ups tend to be open long here, maybe because the pool of players is not so large.amok wrote:Does this happen regularly?

Ah, I see. I've seen a few people mention during games that they were playing another game at the same time, and I find it a bit amazing. Can't imagine having the concentration to do that.b.ternarius wrote:Also TR just finished the epic South Park game, and signups are hot there for Homo Zapiens and the upcoming Centennial game. Playing two games with some crossover of players is tough ..... I've never played a game with different players but playing with Raven Lily Dean etc is confusing .amok wrote:Ah, I see.
