Re: Monty Python Mafia Day 1
That would be pretty obvious, which is why I asked how good of a player you are. The fact you are now backing off and making excuses is suspicious, as well, I think. Of course it could have been an honest mistake, but I find it hard to believe you'd forget the role of the don.
Higgs, I thought you had a valid point about giving scum clues about specials.

Nopeth. He's posted more than thou and whilst he was online said everything there was to be saideth.
I do find it a leetle beet suspicious that you'd try and distracteth attention away from Charlou. But not really. And Charlou's only suspicious if MZ is don anyway.

It's all randomized so there's as much chance of him being don as there ever was.

mmm. I don't think I'd hold the vote and the change against charlou. They used to actually campaign for mayor here with speeches and stuff. Not that she's off the hook for scum at this point, but I don't know that the bmayor vote/unvote meant much.
The point isn't that magicziggy might be don as much as why vote himself? It's putting a target on yourself if you're town and also if you're scum. Not really worth it fot the .5 extra vote which is the sole extent of a mayor's power.
lol at "nopeth:.
I'm not sure about the "giving scum clues about specials". They would know who the don is. It's more trying to get viewed if you're the don.

I just noticed the op: Do your best to speak Olde English or suffer.
sorry for giving you all a hard time.
Can't I just be a lumberjack or the guy with the dead parrot or an argument consultant? Or you guys can imagine me walking sill? I can't do Olde English that well with a headache!

What do you mean about deja -vu about MZ? Is this from a recent game or something?Feck wrote:Some of these surly knaves are absent again (ie where are the no shows they got lives out side or something )

I mean the role claim thing gives clues. Of course now I think about it, the specials could just call themselves vanilla, so nevermind.
It could make sense to try and get elected if you're vanilla; you take the target off of any specials. You'll probably be protected day 1 anyway.
I do agree the .5 voteth is barely worth anythethingeth until the end and it could well be trying to get viewed if you're don.
No, I wouldn't lynch Charlou on just that, although it does elevate her suspiciothneth above the others. In fact, in case I don't come online again: Vote Charlou. I should be online again, though, don't worry.
As for speaking olde english just go through your posts and addeth eth to th'end of words.

Just a heads up, editing posts is illegal.Feral_Punctuation wrote: As for speaking olde english just go through your posts and addeth eth to th'end of words.
There is no real teeth to my rule about speaking olde English anyway.
The only time it may come into effect would be in a tiebreaking situation, like last game.
As you were.

Feck, you never know, the role claim thing might give clues. I agree with that.

Are there French brigands in our midsts? Begone vagabonds, this royal quest will end in our splendor. I am wary of our silent companions, maybe they are wary of a slip of the tongue and reveal their peculiar accents. You claim us we are fools for saying we are noble knights - would you rather remain clandestine and arouse unjust suspicion that our infiltrators can use against us? Nay, I say.
Sir Bevedere seems genuine. Yet sights are deceiving and I shall refrain from giving my blessings just yet. Anyone granting their blessings for a man claiming his noble right is not automatically in league with our enemies. Lady Charlou has merely voiced her opinion, I don't think we should punish her for being the first to jump of the mark?
My eye is cast at those remaining quiet. Purposefully or deliberate - eth?
