If you believe she's an outed SK. I don't. I think she's scum.

One more thought, and I'm going to try to go to sleep. Why would scum kill Mono? and who would choose her if they were scum? That kill convinced me that we have a vig and that the scum kill was prevented on night 1. No kill last night has me rethinking that Mono was the scum kill after all.

It reminds me a little of the kingmaker game, where players who weren't the obvious choice kept winding up dead the first few nights.

I like how you're being very careful not to look defensive here.

Even if you are what you say you are (pffft), town win or lose with or without you so no loss either way.

w/e. I'm not likely to be around to win either way. But, I'll have fun acting as town's vig while I can.

I'm with you on this Charlou. MZ and Feck also seem off to me. What's your take on them?

I'm not feeling defensive. I'm feeling free. I don't have to pretend to be town. I allied myself with town when I read my role PM, but I am not town. This is a chance for ratz mafia to learn something about my game. it doesn't matter whether you believe me in this game or not. There will be another indie role someday, and some of you will remember this game.

And I will also learn in this game and the next one whether a town compatible indie can expect a fair shake from town, or if they should expect to be lynched at the first opportunity.

hah!

Actually that was my favourite property as well. The railroads.

So if you really are the SK, what will happen at the end game if you are still alive? You say you want to work for town. But there's going to come a point where we won't be able to trust that you won't kill one of us during the night.

I have to survive until one of the teams win. When the last scum is dead town will win. If I'm alive, so will I.

But you can't trust me on that, even if you know I've been a reliable town-first indie player in other games all the way to endgame. You should kill me before it reaches the point where town doesn't have the numbers to win without me unless you are convinced I'll put town ahead of my own win. Again. I put town first last night when I outed.

So we can use you as a tool? : P And if it benefits us both, then great. I would imagine though that you would put your win first before town. Only makes sense....

I have to admit Charlou's adamant behaviour has me still thinking...

No, I would put town's win before my own. but you can't really know that.

this is all about the metagame to me. and, as in all games no matter what my assigned win condition, I personally set my own goals.

I threw in with town in my first indie game at TR and I made a choice for my endgame night action that I thought would benefit town even though I expected to be dead the next day. I guessed wrong, and scum won because I was alive but couldn't vote. and technically, I won too. but I have never considered that game to be a win.

Hmmm as denny would say how ponderious.

Gib was a good choice. However, and this is a big however, WHY was there no scum kill? Do we really have a seer AND a doc AND this role of oblivions, with scum as well? The place is starting to be a bit crowded. I'm far from convinced on a night view AND a night kill. I've never heard of it before.

Mantis, gib voting you for mayor is going to put you under the spotlight. I can see charlou's reasoning. Oblivion, what is bothering me is that you are thinking charlou is a don, when IF your role is legit AND you cleared charlou then she is just likely confused town.

If there's a seer, you should out. That's my opinion, let's hear from others first, before you do.

It's just so weird how vehement Charlou is. But I'm seeing this from my pov. I tried to turn last night into the sort of groupthink we did in the kingmaker game, and it worked for me. I got comfortable with the night kill.

You'll see this when the game is over and I share the writeboard I've been posting in for M. Before I outed, I had decided to skip my kill and view gib. But I thought my chances of surviving to out the view were too low. So, I decided to open pandora's box and see if either a town doc would protect me, or if scum would assume the do would protect me and go for another target.
