The fact that DP was Vanilla Town throws my theory about who's Scum for a loop. He was Number 2 on my Scum list. I have to rethink everything.

Didn't know anything about your list earlier--did you publish it? But here we are on day three, and you are confused again.

What are your current thoughts regarding town vs. scum?

I can tell you what my thoughts were last night, because I wrote them down. Because DP turned out to be Town, as well as learning that players knew who you were from a previous game, makes me have to rethink.

I wrote (to myself):

I've learned a new concept in Mafia play this game. The "hedging" thing. Which ironically was brought up by my chief suspect at this point, Bilirubin. He is Number 1, DP is Number 2 (also for the hedging thing), and Gonzo is Number 3.

Bilirubin's post at 11:52 p.m., re: Matt: "If you do get lynched and turn up a town special, I'm not going to give a shit. Fix your play." Wow. Talk about hedging.

DP's post at 12:22 a.m.: "Shizzle, seems too scummy to be scum, but then again could be a double bluff, or just bad play." Then votes Shizzle. Hedging.

Gonzo's post at 2:29 p.m.: "I do not like the bilirubin wagon at all. I don't see much logic in the votes put to him. We played together at TR and this reminds me of his town game. I haven't seen him as scum, yet, so I don't know his range as a player, but in this game he seems similar to how he played in Game of Thrones." The logic on the votes against Bilirubin is as sound as possible on Day 2 (whether it turns out to be correct or not). Also Diva's point about him knowing who he is on the other site makes me think they're talking on a Scumboard.

Given those three hedging posts, how did you come up with the order for your suspicion?

To me, Gonzo's hedge looks the worst.

Hi jason. Re. zig, he's actively scum hunting, I'm agreeing with some of his reads and also the vibe I'm getting from his posts.

If diva is on my scummy pile then it stands to reason that I'm sceptical of the authenticity of her meltdown.

I'm not sure I would characterize what he is doing as actively scum hunting. More like target fixation that he can pass off as scum hunting. Have not seen any inspectoring.

Lets leave zigman (who you see as town) and diva (who I see as town) off for a second. Could we agree to consolidate around gonzo, ksen, or higgs?

b. tenirealis made a similar comment about "not seeing x BW" iirc, and that is a tell of gonzo's I picked up too. The next loud tell was diva predicting how irre would flip--the rest of her play appears to be town to me, but I've not played with her as scum and some hold her scum game in higher regard.

I don't know why Feck thinks that's suspicious. I questioned Zigmen about why he said your apology was "glittery," and I said the timing (you broke the rule and posted a basic "sorry" within a minute, which seemed natural to me). I explained I just learned about it in the last game, and if I'd had have done the same thing, I would likely have posted a knee-jerk apology as well (remembering how it became sort of an issue, or at least a talking-point, in that game).

You had Ksen and I in your scummy pile earlier:

diva and ksen are looking more like scum to me as the days go on. higgs is the most scummy of the bunch.

Unsure on zigman. Really can't tell if he has trolley tracked badly on me, or if he really thinks he can drive a scum lynch onto me. I'd be more suspicious if DP had been the scum kill. Also unsure on r.c., amok, gonzo, and praying, who are also basically AWOL or posting drive bys only. Possibly scummy.

Get townish reads off Aza, irre, Feck. Would like to see Athene start playing now that she is back.
