Re: kingmaker day 4
So, oblivion, you are left wondering about me. I'm left wondering about you. At this point I do have to wonder why you are alive (and yes, why I am alive, too). I FoS charlou, then she gets NK'd. I FoS zigmen, then he gets NK'd. It looks to me like scum are doing a WIFOM generation. Someone is laughing their ass off.
Mantis, you'll have to stop being wishy washy today. Please.

Everyone is in the mix. Including Manits. I'm still cooking!
Re: kingmaker day 4
The metaphor fits. I'm a bee with no sting left. There comes a point in most games where it sucks for me to be town and still be alive because it makes for an ugly wifomy endgame. I don't think we've hit the point where whatever I can contribute is outweighed by the amount of wifom I may generate by still being alive. YMMV.irretating wrote:So, oblivion, you are left wondering about me. I'm left wondering about you. At this point I do have to wonder why you are alive (and yes, why I am alive, too). MZ, welcome to the ex-King club. It's kind of an interesting situation to be in. Sort of reminds me of the zombies game where dead players could still play, but we aren't really elder town statesmen because our aligments are still question marks.
Re: kingmaker day 4
well you are more cleared than MZ and I , we executed loyal villagers

You can wifom your alignment all you like. I'm damned sure of mine.oblivion wrote:The metaphor fits. I'm a bee with no sting left. I think executing you would solve the issue around your alignment.

You should have taken care of it when you had the chance then.Magicziggy wrote:You can wifom your alignment all you like. I'm damned sure of mine.oblivion wrote:The metaphor fits. I'm going to spend the rest of the game wondering if I should have hit enter when I had irre's name behind the word execute.

I'm wondering whether scum bussed denny.. if I were king today, I'd have an itchy trigger finger, that's for sure.

I'm half serious. If anyone but you (or MZ) had executed denny, I'd have cleared them 100%.irretating wrote:I'm wondering whether scum bussed denny.. if I were king today, I'd have an itchy trigger finger, that's for sure.
Re: kingmaker day 4
and it's comments like this that make me think sorting you out either way would have been better for town than killing denny. He's not nearly as dangerous and hard to spot when he's scum as you are, and the longer people like you (and me) are in the game, the more difficult and costly mis-kills will become.irretating wrote:I'm half serious. I'm almost grateful to scum for killing zigmen, though. He was a HUGE question mark to me yesterday.
Re: kingmaker day 4
you know what's funny, though? I haven't bussed a scum buddy in about 8 months. the last time I did it, the player had a complete meltdown. my team won, but it wasn't worth anything like that amount of acrimony. And the phrase "makes Hitler look meek" has a special meaning at TR.
Re: kingmaker day 4
did you ask or explain or did you just ruthlessly kill one of your own team for personal glory ?oblivion wrote:you know what's funny, though? I was almost starting to like you

Ok, Oblivion, stop speculating about the wifom your continued survival generates and do what you do best.
What do we make of the absentee player? I'm glad I didn't wait around for her.
