Re: Simpsons Day 1
Ok, I have been trying to keep up to date with this during the spurs game.
I think gib is genuine.
However, talk of jesters is not helping town imo.

I hope it was wise too. But, it wasn't just me that tried to save her. It was a collective effort.Callan wrote: 1.This interested me:Someone else commented on Mantis' keenness to see irre saved - MZ maybe? Whoever it was, I agree.Mantisdreamz wrote:Oh christ, don't tell me we're going to let Irre go down.
2.That's not to say I'm as convinced as I was about irre's guilt - happily, the uncharacteristic fluffy persona has gone now, which is much more productive. I wasn't happy about her seemingly baseless flip/flop voting, but considering what you all got up to while I was asleep, maybe that's not such a good indicator of scumminess after all! I hope you were wise to save her.
Why do I ring alarm bells? It wasn't entirely me that actively got the bw switched of Irre. I was just showing my exasperation that I thought the bandwagon was silly. Even Normal mentioned that it had no sold foundations or something of the sort.Magicziggy wrote:Ok, on a read through, I have no read at all on the Euro based players as they were not on the lynch activity.
Of the active players Mantis rings alarm bells. Something about the way she actively asked us to get off the Irre bw.
Why Mantis, why? Why are you so sure about Irre? That is my big question from a read from pages 7 to here.
Everything about the bw was predictable. We lynched a town. Charlou and Irre are ringing town. Tbh the rest are as well. It is possible that all active players were town.
It may not have been a good move. She could be tricking us. But, I think many would agree that she seems/ed townish.
I was suspicious of Mort in the beginning, and that's where my vote stayed.

I like the idea of establishing if Ani is a Day 2 Jester by whether he does or does not post the words "I am town". It seems simple - deceptively so?
It does assume that a) Gib's weird and frankly unlikely tale is true and b) Ani's win condition is the same as Gib's, neither of which is certain.

wifom is from the movie the princess bride. it referes to a scne where a guy is trying to determine which glass of wine is poisoned. he goes back and forth for a while then drinks one. the key part is that it's useless because both glasses were poisoned.
