please can someone explain to a flavour n00b what the night's events mean. Was mantis scum? Was she a vig?

Aza going after shizz was the easy thing for you. I'm getting a scum or indie vibe due to complete lack of scum hunting. Although, happy to watch the dramaz you have probably just unleashed. I'm curious as to what the will of the town will be today.
What are your thoughts on zig and bili?I'm going to assume mantis could choose someone to kill upon dying as a result of a night kill, in addition to being lynched, so a bit more powerful than your usual vengeful player.A Vengeful player is a one that, when lynched, is awarded the ability to kill any other player as they die.

Oh hai Athene! Tell me about your townish read on Zigman. Also, do you think diva's meltdown yesterday was faked? If she is scum, then I'm betting gonzo is also.

Add FF to my unsure pile.

Hi jason. Re. zig, he's actively scum hunting, I'm agreeing with some of his reads and also the vibe I'm getting from his posts.Bilirubin wrote:Oh hai Athene! If diva is on my scummy pile then it stands to reason that I'm sceptical of the authenticity of her meltdown.

You provided a link that clearly said that the Goa'uld's kill with their staffs...why on earth would you claim that it was a scum kill when the OP said it was a zap gun? There is no mention of zap gun in the link that you provided.Bilirubin wrote:

Diva, this is further down in the link. The Zat guns are Goa'uld technology, but Stargate Command use them, too.
Zat'nik'tel (Zat) – A zat'nik'tel (pronounced "ZAT-nik-a-tel", usually shortened to "zat") is commonly used sidearm shaped like a small snake curved into an "S" shape, that springs forward when activated. One shot from the zat stuns (though its effectiveness varies with different people), a second shot kills, and a third shot disintegrates.[50] The producers eventually regretted introducing the disintegration feature and retconned it out of existence after season 3; an in-joke is made of this in the episode "Wormhole X-Treme!", where Martin Lloyd suggests it and a character replies "that's the quite possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard you say." Zat blasts can be transmitted through conductive materials like metals,[51] and can also be used to either destroy electronic equipment[8] or as a power source.[34] The SGC is ultimately able to acquire a fairly large supply of Zat guns by taking them from dead Jaffa, or raiding Goa'uld weapons caches.

Interesting. Gonzo made his post 31 minutes to the nightfall. His post pinged big time because I did not at the time think that he had a reason to know who Bilirubin was at TR.Azathoth wrote:voting to save yourself at 2 minutes to nightfall so nobody can change it is a scumtell. That was a textbook scum swoop last night. Care to explain your vote irre?
Zig, I didn't see your explaining post to me until this morning. I do remember you mentioning that you were going to change up your game now that you reminded me. I would've voted bili with you.
##vote bili##
I already said it looks scummy and I am not going to bother to go into the details of the frenzy of the last half hour of the game. I know how I will flip and I will flip town. My actions last night were a liability to my team because now it will be hard to read my lynch as there will most likely be town and scum on it.
What I also find interesting is how lazy you are being in this game. You are going after low hanging fruit and relying on pat cultural site scum tells (which are not necessarily always scum tells and you should know that) to justify your votes instead of getting your hands dirty and finding scum.

As near as I can tell, Mantis was a kind of Town Bomb who, if killed, could select a player to take out with her.
I also see Aza as Scummy, but not as Scummy as Bili.

The fact that DP was Vanilla Town throws my theory about who's Scum for a loop. He was Number 2 on my Scum list. I have to rethink everything.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tok%27raThe Tok'ra are a fictional alien race on the science fiction television series Stargate SG-1. They first appear in the season 2 episode "In the Line of Duty". In the show, the Tok'ra are biologically the same species as the Goa'uld who inhabit human hosts in a symbiotic relationship, and are opposed to the evil System Lords. They are one of the major offworld allies of Stargate Command.
Mantis wasn't Scum.

Never mind. Misread Feck's post. I thought he said someone killed "scum Mantis," not someone scum killed Mantis.
