What are you saying here? Are you agreeing with me or saying that Normal isn't suspicious?
I'm saying you were a bit wrong in that normal's claim and mono's roles weren't redundant. And I'm saying that I would expect scum reveals to have some sort of minor "sprinkles" with them. Outing when under no pressure to claim someone is an innocent proves nothing. Scum would know higgs alignment and claiming it's a one shot power would relieve him of having to give another read tomorrow. It does make higgs look clearer in my view, but really says very little about normal.
Hmm.. I didn't think of it that way. I just figured it would be best to tell it so that I wouldn't get killed by scum during the night. It would be useless of them to kill me if I couldn't do anything to them during the night.

Is it possible that there are more people than normal who are special due to the "sprinkles" condition?

I don't know. Now Higgs claims that she also has some sprinkles. That means there are already four people who are supposed to have minor powers. 2 of them are confirmed because they are dead.

He should have outed sooner so there was more time for people to see it and also to see if there was a counter claim but those who saw it should have dropped their votes.

As far as normal goes, he may or may not be telling the truth about being a one day seer. My role tells me that I'll have some special action but I don't know what it is or when it is, and I bet some of yours do too. I'm thinking it is dictated by the cards. So his story about being a one night seer could ery well be true. I am town, btw. Just in case there are any more lie detectors waiting to pop out :D

Charlou, I think pointing out the zigmen and galls were not performing some special magic act that only could be done if they both had the same vanilla town pm is p. useful, whether you think it scum hunting or not. People were buying their claim hook line and sinker.

For the record, I haven't been fishing.

Just an idea.

Here's the problem I have with this method where a player is assumed town because they imply or even claim to be special--the scum can do the same. Pretty soon there will be so many coming out that special will be common and scum will be able to hide in the crowd of special town. Might make for a good ploy for scum to coordiante on.

I'm thinking we don't actually have regular specials who have their powers throughout the whole game, but vanilla town who will get a power for a night, and that night and maybe even the power will be dictated by olivion's tarot cards. There might not be any vanilla town without sprinkles for that matter. Think about it, there were 14 players, 3 are probably scum, if 11 have a one night power that is one special for 11 days. Maybe some people have more than one night's worth.

I'm still suspicious of the zig/gall trick. I know zigmen could come up with this and pull it off.

I have a list of everyone left and had gone through and made comments on each person and I screwed up and changed pages and it's gone. My head is pounding as well. So I'm going to say tha tUT is suspicious because he's not doing anything, sifaka for the same thing whether her game blew up or whatever, she's not hunting scum in any manner, ani does seeem like he's trying to lay low.
And feck why didn't you get off the bw when mono claimed? On the other hand you did see that the zig/gall trick was not the be all and end all in clearing even before me if I recall correctly if they were scum and you were their buddy, you probably would not have said anything.

Yeah, the difference was that mono said he had a choice andI don't recall that he said it ends tonight. Normal could have claimed that as scum. But I think I I were scum I might claim something different than the other claim like doc rather than seer which seems like a redundant power. The answer to that, I guess, could be that the cards dictate what happens so that might have been what they dictated.

Higgs, I could not have agreed with you yesterday because the True Blood game had not finished. If I had, i could have possibly outed your role in that game. But, yes. You are quite correct that i am capable of such a ruse. You should also understand that I know that reverse is also true. You came up with the True blood ruse, and I followed your lead (pretty well, if i may add).

The question you need to ask yourself is whether or not such a ruse is valuable to scum on day 1. When you and i performed the great Vig-Switcheroo, we both knew that it would only fool people for about a day (which it did). Beyond that, such a ploy would merely draw attention to the players involved.

We also emplyed that sham as a life-saving measure for a scum team mate (me).

There are vast differences between what you saw in True blood and what has happenend here, though I can understand your interest in the vague similarities.

What happened in this game was pro-town.

As higgs suggests, UT isn't doing anything. I'm going to put out a vote and see if it attracts more votes. It's either that or Sifaka for me today.

Vote UT
