Hm, yes. Zigmen started off by voting you.
Re: Kingmaker day 3
more importantly he started off with some shit about town staying quiet.

Re: Kingmaker day 3
I've got to say that when Mort made that comment about agreeing with both Oblivion and zigmen I simply read it as she could see merits in both arguments.
Frankly I can see no merit in town staying quiet. Under any circumstances.

Re: Kingmaker day 3
For the record I thought Charlou was the king maker . that's why I didn't want to comment last night about her . Now I'm stumped .I will have to have a read of everything again.

Re: Kingmaker day 3
FECK are you trying to stir up conversations about who the kingmaker is. that seems scummy. we don't need to know or talk about the kingmaker at all. It's in town's interest to make that person completely invisible.
Re: Kingmaker day 3
No I'm not
that's why I didn't mention it until she was dead ! that's why I didn't make any comment when people said she had Hadn't been posting much .

Speculation about the KM is completely irrelevant. The KM is not a special.

Re: Kingmaker day 3
weird stuff from day 2:
But before you posted that, you posted this:
Mantisdreamz:
I said this on day 2 in reply to something irre said.
Zigmen, you said this after voting Gib. Which is it? and have your suspects (gib, irre) changed?Zigmen wrote:The lack of night action leads me to believe that we should keep on our path of killing to absent and low posters.
Jynx, you were first after me to kill Feck. I told you that probably wouldn't happen and you started on Zigmen. When I challenged you a couple hours later you said you were pushing Zigmen because I had said I probably wouldn't kill Feck.Jynx wrote:Zigmen is scummier than Feck (for now), He's playing the "look busy" game, but not really doing fuck all.
But before you posted that, you posted this:
So which was it, was Zigmen your first pick at that point or were you trying to influence my kill choice?Jynx wrote:Zigmen is scummier than Feck (for now), He's playing the "look busy" game, but not really doing fuck all.
Mantisdreamz:
What did you mean by this?Mantisdreamz wrote:I find that strange.irretating wrote:Sounds like a reason to not execute him, no?oblivion wrote:zigmen's already indicated he expects me to execute him.
I asked more directly:Mantisdreamz wrote:Gib hasn't pinged with me. I have to go back to see why Zigmen voted for him.oblivion wrote:ok guys. who would you kill if you were me?
gib - zigmen
zigmen - gib
ani - feck or zigmen
... ?
Feck, I'm not too sure. Irre makes a good point about him in her list -- that he might have been more careful if he was scum.
Zigmen - not sure what to think. He hasn't been around in the last bit, so it makes it tough to judge. His posts seem like he knows something? Either that, or like Ani said - he's just bluffing.
I do feel slightly wary of Morticia.
Mantis' foses from day 2. Others were given a little shit for responding only about the people who had been formally fosed/recommended for execution. Mantis didn't get called on it, but was doing pretty much the same thing.Mantisdreamz wrote:Honestly, I don't know.![]()
Maybe mononoke, since we haven't heard a whole lot from him that may be useful.
As for Zigmen... he had voted gib, for the reason that gib was 'uncharacteristically pissed off'. Kind of strange. Someone mentioned that gib always seems pissed off... true. But, still that leaves me not knowing what to think about Zig.
I don't think Feck is a good choice necessarily.
I said this on day 2 in reply to something irre said.
And I want to keep it in mind re Irre's and Zigmen's foses of dennyb. fosing him shouldn't give them too much town cred, though I have them at a lower likelihood than Mono and Mort right now.the game is going to come down to influencing the kingmaker and influencing the kings, I think. fosing a scummate is a low-risk endeavor with potentially high reward as the game progresses.

Could I have confirmation of the end of round time.
It's been a little confusing. I'm reckoing about 12 hours from now.

That's a meaty post Oblivion.

figure on exactly 24 hours after the time of the OP. And try not to cut it as close as I did. I think I had one minute to spare when that post finally went through.Magicziggy wrote:Could I have confirmation of the end of round time.

Re: Kingmaker day 3
The KM has no intrinsic value to scum. The KM will be replaced like for like and succession will continue.Feck wrote:Speculation about who the assassin chose to kill last night is not irrelevant .Magicziggy wrote:Speculation about the KM is completely irrelevant. The KM is not a special.

The Hero does have some value as Oblivion has pointed out. But only under the scenario that a scum is king and that they choose to execute the Hero, thus killing themselves. Therefore there is value in scum wasting the Hero.
Re: Kingmaker day 3
well, if we've got a savvy KM who is making good king choices, then we kinda want to keep them around. Town is not entirely interchangeable, and we may have had some good luck with the initial random assignment.
Re: Kingmaker day 3
wanna share your thoughts on who to execute today? You were on zigmen and Feck yesterday, right?mononoke wrote:FECK are you trying to stir up conversations about who the kingmaker is. that seems scummy. we don't need to know or talk about the kingmaker at all.
