The evidence against me
- I jumped at shadows yesterday and started a lynch movement for someone who turned out to be innocent.
- I misread a post earlier today while I was at work and busy, and responded inappropriately.

The evidence for me
- I withdrew my vote for Virphen yesterday
- I proposed that he be substituted into the game in lieu of the missing player in whatever the role was if he was innocent.
- I've invited investigation by a player who presumably has investigatory powers - there must be a cop or PI type character, surely.
- I've tried to work out a strategy and/or warn of inappropriate strategies for the good guys to communicate their findings without bad guys targetting them.
- I've spoken the truth as best I understood it the whole game - I was mistaken about Virphen and misread the post by Twinkie in my rush, both of which I apologised for - but everything has been sincere, if not accurate at the time.
- I've now been targeted by people either jumping on a bandwagon or being manipulated by a small number of bad guys in my opinion.
- In about 30 minutes (if that's the end of round???), I'll be shown to be innocent but it will be too late.

I like your style Redial. You're entertaining to play with...errrr, in the mafia game I mean. You're probably slipping off my suspect list as I get used to your quirkiness.

I should have mentioned before that Blip is on my list of probable innocents and Sifaka is a little suspect to me.

I'm voicing these opinions, as I'm going to be gone soon and can no longer play. Virphen wanted to do the same apparently, but mixed up his time zones a little.

And it's nearly 10pm here and I'm checking this thread in between making a Powerpoint presentation for a lecture tomorrow to some school students. I'm a little sleepy.

I really have no idea who is who at this stage and certainly know no special role players. I haven't been approached by anyone either genuinely or with a false flag operation. I've been trying to discern posting behaviour for lack of anything else to go on and obviously got it wrong yesterday. If people want to bear a grudge or use it as damning evidence, so be it. But you're wrong.

I suppose I should say thanks Animavore for withdrawing your vote. Perhaps we just got off to a bad start and the evil team(s) are sitting back and laughing at us tear each other apart for no good reson whatsoever.

If you add me to your trusted list I will defend you in any future lynch discussions (unless I have proof to the contrary)
If anyone has the hidden immunity idol they should play it now.
I can only think of one reason Witticism would turn on the person who nominated him for mayor.

I think it's appropriate to vote for the Lolcat king himself, Witticism, for mayor. And if he's a bad guy, I figure I can take him in a fight AND on the tennis court, whichever method of slow painful death he chooses.

I voted for Witti for Mayor, as I know him personally and he's a great guy (outside of mafia games) and he's the Lolcat king over at Ratskep. There was no other consideration - he was as good a choice as any. I did later change my vote to Redial, but merely for the entertainment value - she's a hoot and we had a lot of fun with her in the recent Ratskep mafia game.

To have Witti turn on me though when it's obvious to anyone that knows me that I'm getting frustrated and, when I was busy at work today I was quite a bit flustered, I find it a little difficult to understand why. I would hope that me voting for him for Mayor (and changing it later) but him turning on me would be evidence pointing to us not having an alliance. When I'm proven innocent, keep Witti on your radar.

Does anyone know the voting tally ? If it's close between me and one of my suspect players, I'd consider posting a vote for one of them. But I'm not poisoning another presumed innocent, particularly when I know I don't have a special role but they very well may have. I'm prepared to take one for the team if it comes down to that.
