Feck wrote:Well finally it seems as if the Gm's have stopped this crap about role pms either you give all town players the same win condition and you publish it or all players get a different role PM . This clutching at role PMs as a way to spot scum backfires more often than not like the other ways of non game scum hunting ie watching for who sends a pm or who is on-line . I also don't think it's fair to lynch indies because the role pm says threats to town .

MZ it sounds to me like you just soft outed ? If this is the case why?
Can you explain this a bit more:

"I also don't think it's fair to lynch indies because the role pm says threats to town."

I realize I'm sounding defensive because I made a shambles of the last vote, but aren't Indies quite likely to be dangerous, especially if we're told the "threats to Town" thing?

Indies are not always a threat to town if they have a survive to the end win condition if the town win condition is stated as ......'all threats to town' it is easy for town players to assume town and only town must survive to end game ,this often results in a suspected or known indie being lynched instead of a scum player , Last game we played the indie actually counted as town for voting parity .

Anyone else think the Thief (town, indie, whatever they are) should out after the Night Kill deadline? I can't think of another way to pin down who's telling the truth.

i think it all depends on what their win condition is.... in other words, they probably won't want to because we'll want to lynch them

But you had something stolen. This game is too small for recruitment surely.

I'm happy to lynch dev tomorrow. Or feck.

We'll know soon enough one more player who's Town. Damn Tea Party Scum. Wish I'd worried more about them when it might have done some good.
