This isn't going to make me popular.
7 twinkie - doctor
2 Oblivion - voted Budski
10 MZ - voted Budski
8 Ani - seer
Which means that these are scum:
5 Denny
6 feral p
Wait, WTF?! I'm not scum!
Okay. Time to consider options.
1. There's only one scum left and it's Denny. This wouldn't balance well and would be different to the rest of the games.
Disregarding this option as unlikely.
2. Oblivion mentioned that he didn't trust Ani's seer claim. I'd be interested to know why. We've had a seer in all the games before and there's been no counter-claim. I'm thinking it would be a very high risk scum strategy. Prohibitively so, given Ani wasn't even much of a suspect before.
Disregarding this option as unlikely, until Oblivion explains herself.
3. Someone who voted for Budski did so a) as a strategy, b) as an (almost) accident.
I pick this option (for now). See later in the post for detail.
4. For the rest of you, it's easier to assume it's just me and Denny as scum.
Detail on option 3:
Day 1:
Oblivion voted for Budski first.
Ani voted next, then unvoted.
Twinkie votes for me.
I vote Twinkie.
MZ votes for Ed, Mantis votes for Ed,
Ani votes for Twinkie,
MZ changes his vote to Budski.
OK. Either a) Oblivion is scum, not MZ b) vice versa or c) they both are.
a) Makes sense. Oblivion didn't think Budski would get another vote over Twinkie, he doesn't change his vote so he can claim he always suspected him, but at the last minute MZ swayed the vote. Ob DID have time to post, but if he went back on his vote then when Bud DID get lynched, Ob would be the prime suspect. This way they gain more from it.
b) Makes less sense. It would have had to be arranged and if that's true it would be better to get both scum on the trusted list. Which would point to the below option.
c) It would have to be arranged before hand. Possible but unlikely. But possible.
Either way, Oblivion is implicated.
Ani said he hadn't read Oblivion or MZ. One of them could be don anyway.
So if Oblivion is scum, why is he going for Ani and not an easier target? I mean, one more wrong lynch and a night kill and they've won. Well, Twinkie's protection could stop the nk. But attacking Ani just makes Twinkie's protection more unpredictable, right? Twinkie wouldn't protect me or Denny, scum could just nk the one who isn't lynched. Unless one of us (Denny) is scum. Cast doubt on Ani and Twinkie is much less likely to protect him, leaving him open. Worth it, given Ob's relative impunity. Add to that that it will take attention off of Denny (and Ob hasn't mentioned him in a while) and it seems worth it.
Bear in mind the inconsistencies I've already pointed out in Ob's posting.
We can't wait on Ani's seering. We're depending on our lynch votes and Twinkie's protection. The second one is mostly luck. The first is down to you. I don't know whether I've put forward a convincing argument, or even if it's right.
Vote Denny. He's a more credible lynch candidate that Ob to the rest of you. We need to get this right.
I guess I'll be lynched by nightfall, but by then you'll know I wasn't lying about this.
Good luck, guys. Damn, I'd make a good conspiracy theorist.
