I blocked Ani on a 50 50 call between Ghat and Ani on last night post from Higgs and DP.
Ani says he was blocked. I CAN confirm this, although it doesn't mean he's not lying.
If, as I suspect, he is the scum roleblocker, then he would have attempted a block on someone.
He would know that he was blocked. He would guess that oblivion put roleblockers in the game on both sides.

I can admit that I didn't read through all the variations and arguments in regards to Ani & MagicZ, but from my perspective, I see it as Ani is seer who viewed Ghat. MZ blocked Ani, thinking he was scum - therefore, Ani couldn't get a proper read on Ghat. Ani assumed that Ghat was scum and blocked his role - so came out on the thread stating that Ghat was scum. It was discovered that MZ was the blocker, so therefore Ghat couldn't be.

It still doesn't necessarily put Ghat in the clear. I admit that his posts do sound pretty sincere though, in that he is vanilla town.

I would leave Ani and MZ alone for now, just in case they are telling the truth.

However, like I said I haven't read through the thread word for word and all possible arguments as to how they could be playing this up somehow? Or one of them playing it up? But, it sounds like a fair enough account on what had happened.

Also, higgs2 has come into question as well.

The one thing that got me about you was that you voted Ghat, unvoted him, and then haven't voted again.

I know I haven't voted yet, but I'm getting into the game waaay late and trying to catch up.

I guess not voting doesn't necessarily mean something, but it caught my attention.

I noted that she did indeed put in a lengthy post that made reference to what town roles could be and whatnot. But, she's a smart girl and could be hiding behind that.

Hmm, actually - thinking on it, I know that she did FOS Useless. Which makes it trickier thinking on that. Could that have been some sort of ploy to make it look like she had suspicion on him, just in case she got killed or lynched. I recall last game virphen came out first thing on one of the days with a vote for higgs2, but it turned out they were both scum.

Either way, I still don't necessarily know what to think of Ghat. And Charlou's post really don't sound all that suspicious to me(?)

Like others, voting for Ghat seemed to me like the best move given the information we had at the time. Like others, I have unvoted Ghat due to the new information and have not voted for another player. In my case it's because I have nfi who looks most suspicious at the moment so any vote I make will be random. I think it's a shame Ani fucked up (if he's telling the truth which I believe he is) and will be lynched as a result, but I can understand the reason why people want rid of him. Today's play has been most fascinating.

He could be but it seems his role is of no use to us. If he's not lynched then mafia are likely to hit him overnight to prevent him learning something to help town.

I got the impression that he is knowledgeable on game strategies. However, I looked back at his post, I think on last page or so, when he states that Ani 'conveniently' realized he was role blocked. First time reading the thread, I didn't see this to be the case - I just thought Ani jumped the gun. However, I was looking at it in a more simplistic way. It could very well be some sort of 'concocted' plan, but for now - I'm not going to vote MZ or Ani - just in case their story is the true story.
