I'm normally more suspicious of quiet players than noisy ones but, in fairness, I imagine lots of other people are as out of it as I am. :dono:

I read Lion's proposal with interest, but surely that would be enormously risky for the major innocents, particularly as we don't even know how many bad guy teams / individuals we are dealing with or what the rules for them are; nor whether we have a loose cannon in the mix, which seems likely.

As to voting for a lynching, I'm very worried about jumping on a bandwagon and getting it really wrong at this stage.

Just my thoughts, which I acknowledge aren't helpful but which I thought I might as well share.

I know what you mean, there's really no clues and the lack of pming is drivign me mad, I have no idea who to trust, could we have a clue or something mods?

I think the number of mafia as a percentage of total players is probably the same as most normal games.
It can't be allowed to be too much higher because they already have the advantage of internal private communication and anonymity.
I think there must be a magic number (ratio) to keep THEM from winning by pure attrition.
In the early part of the game the innocents are statistically more likely to vote off one of their own.
In this "no PM's between innocents" game we can't rely just on guesses.
I think role players need to come out early while the innocents have a sufficient numerical advantage.

EDIT TO PREVIOUS POST- Added one more thought to post.
If the innocents become demoralized due to the lack of clues or game direction from the role players it may cause a feedback loop and players might become increasingly detached from the game. Inaction by the innocents or indifference about who to lynch would be a massive windfall for the mafia.

Is this game really slow or is it just due to the exceedingly long day length?

There's just one problem. Basement Cat and hiz evil minions have infiltrated this happy cathouse and they want it for themselves. Each night they will force an innocent cat into the big scary outdoors.
My bold. And yet two cats were missing from their cat beds after the first night :dono:

When Oblivion ran the Dune mafia game, she had two evil teams, didn't she?

I'm wondering if that's the case again. And CookieJon's murder looks to me like the work of a freelancer - does he or she have any more attacks planned?

Bandwagon.

I'm wondering if Durro has done something I've missed or if all these people are just being "Oh he led a vote of an innocent so he must be a big meanie".

Cos that would be p stupid.

I'm innocent. I'm an agnostic kitteh as I said before.

But fuck it, lynch me.

For what it's worth, and that's probably not much, I suspect Animavore, Twinkie and now Witticism. Witti knows me in real life and knows that if I'm being sincere, then I'm telling the truth. To vote against me now is highly suspect as he can tell that I'm being sincere by my language and increasing frustration. I'm also a little suss on Redial but I can't quite work her out.

I think I can trust Mantisdreamz. Also JA Poisson, Rapping Agnostic, Mephistococles and LionIRC. Maybe. I can't really trust anyone in this game, but these guys seem to be trying to apply logic and vote sincerely, even when it's against me. I respect a vote against me based on well thought out assumptions from my posts so far. I don't respect people who vote on emotion or to go with the pack. The group psychology in this game can get ugly.

A vote from me won't change the outcome. The 2nd in the vote is Rappingagnostic and I won't vote for him on principle given my thoughts about who I think is innocent. Everyone else is a wasted vote from me and will affect nothing.

Bye guys. Now I know how Virphen felt yesterday (I'm still feeling guilty about that and I didn't even vote for him in the end).

Pyschic rad and green kittehz can see who is pretending not to look at the thread :ele:

There isn't a lot of evidence against you but still

Why Witti?

I may have been too quick to vote Durro. I shall change my vote if someone else is a more likely candidate.
