Op says approx 48 hours, so might be rounded off to 1am(local) 30 minute offset would be kind of unusual.charlou wrote:I think we have 30 minutes? If not, it's nightfall.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

We apparently lynched it.Magicziggy wrote:##vote no lynch##

Oh. I thought it was 8:35 p.m. Atlantic Time, which is about two minutes away. If we have another half-hour, all the better. Let's try a "No Lynch," just this once, and start from scratch. The mod error and Amok stupidity should be reason enough, no?charlou wrote:I think we have 30 minutes? If not, it's nightfall.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

My thinking?Magicziggy wrote:##vote no lynch##

DP accepted taking the lynch 'for town' ... that could be an equally good scum strategy, though. I'm leaning towards that at the moment. In the meantime, I had in mind that these last minute rushed votes pretty much almost lead to lynching town, so that uncertainty influenced my decision to vote no lynch.

You're right .. I was mistaken. Checked the OP and nightfall was seven minutes ago.amok wrote:Oh. I thought it was 8:35 p.m. Atlantic Time, which is about two minutes away. no lynch? WTF? You should have at least gone for Ksen to see if he was lurking or not.
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
