Yep, I'm thinking Zig & Feck are both innocent.

Especially, since Zig said:
Denny is pinging as well- BWing and supposing my game is close to my normal scum game. Seems too chummy with the lynch-Zig movement for me to not mention.

Unless Oblivion bussed one of her team mates, she's probably town. Especially since she took the full day round to make her choice. It looked sincere.

MZ brought up the Denny quotes - which seems townish.. though could just be an appearance..

yeah. "Inspired"? I could never have done that (or whatever the exact wordage was?

that's a hell of a lot more suck-uppage than a simple nice pick, well done, etc.

I would kill mono or mort next based on what we know now. and I don't have much order preference based on what we know now.

but we'll know a hell of a lot more after tonight's kill. For one thing, we'll know for sure if the assassin(s?) are actively special-hunting or not.

dennyb did some wifom-planting by asking about the number of assassins. Mono did something similar on day 1, asking about whether there might be specials that weren't outlined in the mafiascum wiki entry. Would both scum have risked that kind of exposure? I dunno. Also, with one of the assassins out of pocket on day 1, did anyone look rattled by that? To me, Mort and Mono came off as rattled possibly.

Zigmen has been off his game so far, but he's GMing for the first time at TR this week. I'm not sure he's ever played a ratz game while GMing elsewhere. He's played a few TR games while simultaneously GMing and playing here. It's definitely a distraction, and it's hard to compartmentalize. I've had a hell of a time with that in this game (and in the simultaneous TR game) mostly (I think) due to this game format being completely new to me, and I've got a lot of practice at compartmentalizing. I had no idea how much thought , time and energy being king would take.

After that (with a honking big what we know now caveat), I'd execute Irre, then either mantisdreamz, Magicziggy or charlou. Mantis doesn't strike me as scummy so far, but she's very good at blending in with town when she is scum.

Magicziggy has seemed pretty townish so far and the length and quantity of his posts look like Town MZ to me. But all that praise and emphatic "she's cleared" really set my teeth on edge.

and also, I have to caveat my Irre next comment with a huge grain of salt. My default is to suspect her, and I had to clamp down really hard on that during day 2, reminding myself that while she's fucking dangerous as scum, she's fucking valuable as town.

Just bringing this forward from day 1 - it was the single pingiest post to me that day:

Oblivion, my comment about your pick was genuine. Nothing had made me think of Denny at all. So I said, "inspired", that's all.
I don't usually comment on the kills, successful or otherwise.

I'll let the day run the full 24. And I want people to vote. My suspicions lie with Mono and Mort.

Mono is a firm believer in Day 1 being random. You said so yourself.

Why does this ping so much when zigmen was asking us all to keep quiet?

that part didn't ping. what pinged was asking about other specials. It looked like a fishing expedition.

^^ eta I downplayed that on day 1 and almost didn't mention it at all because I was concerned that one of the specials that we *do* have would overreact. IMO the assassins are scum-hunting. Callan reacted strongly to Feck's execution choice and results, and she was popped off. Charlou's lower participation was noticed by a couple people yesterday and she was popped off.

I think town and especially the kings need to consider whether every little thing they notice about other players needs to be called out, given the direction scum appear to be taking.
