Linus, can you explain how you came up with <50% likelihood of agent 47 for r.c?

Since the probability must be distributed over several persons, a probability of over 50% for rc would be a pretty strong suspicion---I distribute the probability and suspicion more evenly.

and the basis is?

Lack of anything that makes me much more confident that rc is 47 than, say, dp/mz or irre. I'd rather bet on a coin flip than rc's flip, if the rewards/costs are the same. Since you're going back and forth a bit yourself between more than two suspects, you can perhaps sympathize.
