Because of this, I've decided to relegate the character roles from the video game to secondary, and the concentrate on the actions in THIS game. Unfortunately, because Zigmen has been in limbo, there's little to focus on in his case.

We can focus on his claim that he has a device that "helps us win" ... but that we probably don't need to use in order to win.

Let's see what this device does.

As an aside, Charlou - you're my mama! Ha! Very odd, since I'm probably twice your age! And you also turn out to be a good guy in the video game, so that's something to keep in mind re: character claims.

The thing that proves I am Town is that there was still a Scum kill last night, and there's no way I could have done it.

The other question about me is why I had to lie about my role, which was to try to use a device that nobody has any reason to believe in except by showing it in use.

So even if you use the device we'll just know you have a device, not if you're town? I'm not much seeing a point then.

I have two problems with your story. First let me say it hangs together well so i'm inlcined to believe it, but there are some nags. number one, you deciding to out a fake name that very well could have outed a special. two, a device that revives a townie if the don dies. that just seems so very odd. I mean i've seen back up seers before, but a backup townie to replace the don? I just don't know.

So using this device doesn't clear you at all?

And you think that there was only one kill last night does?

Aside from the fact that I think we still have two threats to town in play ... even if it were only one, why should we believe your claim that you were revived this morning and not at the time the don was lynched?

Zigmen lied to begin with. If I'd been on the ball at the time, I'd probably have outed at some point, due to that lie, rather than later when I chose to myself.

Now he's trying to bluff us by stating that his claim is proven on the one hand, while admitting it's not on the other.

He's basically saying he's vanilla town now, with a device that probably isn't even necessary for town to win.

I'm trusting the specials, so I'm for eliminating vanilla town for a start. Zigmen will do for today.

We know Snake is still hiding in the crowd.

I'm not going to automatically assume lie=Scum in this case, because I do see the rationale behind it (if you're Town). I'll also cede to the majority on the wisdom of you making a reveal.

I'm going back to trying to parse votes, FSs, misrepresentations, etc.
