lol!

Who do you guys want at endgame?

I'd like sifaka and magicziggy for sure. If we kill timinane tonight, then we'll have to have at least 2 of mantisdreamz, Blip or Animavore. And we still need to get 2 more townies lynched before we are there.

We are at 7 town tonight and there will be six in the morning. And we need lynchable players still in the game to avoid getting lynched ourselves. Blip and mantisdreamz are probably not lynchable. Ani may be. Timinane may be. sifaka and magiczippy probably are.

Is there something wrong with my logic? It seems to me that we should night kill one of them, despite the potential risk. If not one of them, then I think it has to be Ani.

At nightfall tomorrow we will have either 6 town and 2 scum or 5 town and 3 scum. The night kill will put us at either 4-2 or 3-2 at the beginning of the next day. And with any luck the game will be over with that day's lynch or the next night kill, depending on the numbers.

Yes. tomorrow's lynch will put us at 6-2 or 5-3. The next morning, after the night kill we'll be at 5/2 or 4/3.

I'm saying we need to kill mantisdreamz, blip or Animavore tonight. Otherwise, we'll be facing 2 of them at endgame if one of us is lynched tomorrow.

eta and we also don't know about redial's replacement. If it's someone we feel we must nk tomorrow, then we could have blip, mantis and ani all three at endgame.

I'd love to get through this game lynchless, but realistically one of us may be lynched tomorrow. If we accept that and don't worry about it, which of those three players do we most want out of the game?

And we may have to throw one of us under the bus tomorrow. We should keep that in mind.

Blip or Mantis.

Ani is less of a threat will limited net access, and he'll probably be out drinking tomorrow so won't be posting much, but I'm killing him Saturday night.

Redial has been replaced so we won't need to NK her for balance.

We can probably use the necessity of replacing her to make the new player out to be scum though.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

That totally depends on the abilities of the new player.

I wish we knew who the replacement is. It might be d0t, who is a pretty decent player. We'll have to see how he fares at figuring things out tomorrow. It definitely could change things.

I suggest we kill Mantis.

of those three, I'd say mantis. Blip might have some suspicion after that odd vote for witti and being our only mayor not getting bumped. Ani only mention you for suspicion yesterday and proving him innocent will sink dp as well. Mantis also fingered both you and dp, but he accused so many we might have a better chance defending ourselves.

I think blip is probably safe from being lynched. It may come down to a hard choice tomorrow between her, ani and d0t for the night kill.

I'll put in the night kill request now and cc everyone.

There's a pretty good chance that we won't all three make it to endgame. If I had to guess, I'd say that uselesstwit is the most likely one of us to make it all the way. So, I guess we really should give you all the up front help and advice we can think of while we are still in the game. As you can probably tell, I've had the endgame in mind for several days in terms of who we don't want around at that point and who we'd like to keep in the game. It's never perfect. Lynches don't always go as scum would like, night kills get screwed up for one reason or another, etc.

We've had an incredible amount of luck during this game, and we've all but hand picked the players who will be around for final few days.

Different scum players take different approaches to the game. Some like to blend in. Some like to fade into the background. Some like to mastermind. I'm a blender-inner, but I tried my hand at masterminding this time. You've been somewhere between fading and blending, and as the game goes forward, it will be harder and harder to stay completely in the background. Just keep avoiding the obvious tells, help town find a way to lynch town, and go after strong players at night. My guess is that tomorrow's kill may be a hard choice between Redial's sub, Blip and Ani. If it turns out the sub is someone I know, I'll tell you what I can about their strengths and weaknesses.

*crossing fingers tonight's kill goes ok*

i'm thinking there is a good chance the sub for redial will be redial. She's been very active over at ratskep tonight and says she's feeling much better. She's even helping set up the next game over there.

here's the link if you want another game. They tend to play less traditional mafia over there so I can't tell you what it'll be like.

I've played a few games with him, but not in the last several months. He tends to play quietly when he's town and a little more vocally when he is scum. It's been quite a while since we've played together, though. I don't know if he'll know who I am since I don't use this name on the forums where we both post. I'm really not sure how good he is at scum-spotting, but I'll review a couple of old games.
