So do you all think pressure votes work p. well when you *say* they are pressure votes off the bat?

Callan seemed kinda chipper and playful at the start of the game. There was a bit of that going around. However, my recollection from the few games we've played together is that she's quite focused and goes for the throat.
amirite? and has there been a change in her play while I wasn't looking?

Re: McDonald's Day 1
It really depends on the win condition. Get lynched day one, last one standing, survive til end game, those are more common ones. But really, the gm could make up any manner of win condition. Any type of powers too, from non to Q-like limitless powers.irretating wrote:oblivion, the only truly indie roles I know well are jester and SK. What are some others?
Aza, isn't it better if we wait to lynch DP? We can always hope he worries scum enough for them to NK him.

I've got the impression that she's toned her early game down a bit. Her last couple of games indicate such.oblivion wrote:Callan seemed kinda chipper and playful at the start of the game. Yep it was the Tea Party mafia game where Feck voted himself and he was town: http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=16635

Yes, I guess it takes the zing out to announce them. Mental note for the future for me.higgs2 wrote:So do you all think pressure votes work p. well when you *say* they are pressure votes off the bat?

I think my frustration last game might have showed it's face just a bit !irretating wrote:I don't know. IIRC mantis never mayor votes me. She might be feeling completely stung about last game.higgs2 wrote:Why do you think this might be the case?irretating wrote:Are you nervous about me?Mantisdreamz wrote:vote Irre
I actually had Callan in my mind to keep an eye on.
Re: McDonald's Day 1
I've seen an unouted miller survive until endgame, scum won that one. I've seen a couple viewed millers lynched. Haven't seen a fake miller, well actually I have but it was a last minute distraction gambit. I'd say we give dp a bit of time, observe his play. It's a real gamble imo to let a so called miller survive to endgame because of the wifom.
I don't know about Callan. I don't have a strong impression of previous play.

Re: McDonald's Day 1
^because of her in and out posts. Again though, it was bed time for her.

Ok. I'll come off high alert. thinking back, IIRC she changed things up a little in the carnivale game.irretating wrote:I've got the impression that she's toned her early game down a bit. why did you mayor vote Feck, Irre?irretating wrote:Morning. Sorry DP, it's sub-8am here, I know that's not a good excuse for not being here earlier, but here I am.
Feck, what are you up to? I call shenanigans, I bet you're jestering.
vote feck

Do you have anything other than wifom and speculation to contribute? I think the gib can't be scum three in a row thing is poorly thought out.The Curious Squid wrote:Azathoth wrote:Just spotted this on a readback.

Not to be pedantic but an individual's odds of being scum are the same on a reroll. I don't think this is a productive road to go down, but travel it if you must. The Curious Squid wrote:Azathoth wrote:Just spotted this on a readback.

Why? From today's play? If so, what?Mantisdreamz wrote:I'm a little wary of Ob or Aza.

This is a good point with so few players. How could the game balance if there are more than one indie, some scum and some town?oblivion wrote:we'll see I guess. I'm not seeing room for much indie presence otherwise.Don't Panic wrote:That would be more like one of Azathoth's games.oblivion wrote:there is also experience in games that had miller roles. they never survive long. town often gets useful info from the reactions.
btw have I mentioned that I kinda wonder if there is a scum team? 11 players and a bunch of indies doesn't leave a lot of room for scum.
heh. dp may be the only player who views as scum.
