Not at all, I'm as prickly and suspicious as ever. I'm interested to hear charlou's take on your game play, however, seeing as she intimated she can read feck. Charlou has a tendency to cruise in the early stages of a game, but I hope direct questions might get her talking a bit more.

Why DP for mayor?

I want him checked. And if he's clear, he will engage more with the game and as town he makes sensible decisions. A few games back, I was about to be lynched, and he instead moved to lynch someone else (scum) and also vig killed someone else (scum), sparing me (town).

He's your top pick to be viewed? Still feel that way? did he ever post?

No, he hasn't posted. I wonder if he'll get subbed. Face it, mayor is not that big of a deal.

i fell like MZ needs to be scrutinized, that why i highlighted him with the mayor vote. hopefully we can get a view on him and clear things a little. to me that vote little scummy, because it seemed like MZ was trying a little too hard to be a hardcore aggressive town player. which isn't even his style.

I seem to remember a previous game where you suggested I wasn't playing to my usual style.

Well it's much harder from scum to play your game isn't it.
Normally you cut throught the WIFOM and pick on some random post that takes your fancy and latch on.

You said too much in your opening post. Innocent people tend to say not much as they've nothing to hide.

I know this is Jynx, but this is really weird, saying he backed off the scummiest looking player.

OTOH he backed off of feck on day 2 of the kingmakers game when I made it clear I wasn't considering Feck. but, that was accepting the lay of the land.

I don't think this is analogous. He changed his mind later, but it was almost like he did so under pressure from other players.

I've got news for you Jynx. I say alot no matter if I'm scum or town. It's called my "game style" I think.
Look back over a game or two and you will see:

I post a lot.
I do a lot of work.
I vote and unvote.

And I do this as scum and as town.
The only difference is it's so much easier to do it as town.
You stating you are leaving me alone out of some kind of sympathy is a huge PING!

Fucking hell, in the two games I've played before, Day 1 is usually a lot less aggressive than this! I'd expected Jynx to be arguing with someone since it seems to be what he does but the lot of you seem more on edge. It's actually making you all look like scum to me, though MZ is standing out the most, he's flailing just like he did in the last game before he got lynched as scum.

I have a natural mistrust of Feck, he's too good at playing scum which makes me tempted to vote him now but I don't really have anything other than a gut feeling to go on with that.

Would be good to hear from Higgs and Azathoth?

I'm going to reread the thread and see if I can make any sense of it before I vote.

No I'm not drunk I just don't feel very good today. Voted mantis because of the diceyness about being mayor, voted MZ because if he views town he would be a decent mayor.

I didn't see any dicey-ness except for the one that oblivion made up.

I didn't make it up. It may not be a tell for you, but it's a tell for a lot of players. And mayor voting someone as a welcome back to the players side is...well...bizarre, given the various strategies for selecting a mayor.

In this game, I guess we'll discover if it's a tell for you. If it is, it'll probably be the last time you drop it.

I have not been scum at ratz since spooks. I haven't been scum at TR since late summer or early fall. I'm DP in the mirror-mirror universe or something.

So yeah, every little variation in every game gets picked up as evidence of my scum game. this isn't the first time for you, though you tend to gloss over the wifom and let someone else point it out when you're scum IRRC.

On a good read through the whole MZ/jynx thing it comes across as very forced. It wouldn't surprise me if they are playing on the nobody listening to Jynx when he is on one to try to make the pair of them look townish.
