The information at the wiki on governor/regent is very minimal. If the regent is lynched, do we vote in a new one?

Actually, that was a silly question. The role seems pivotal to the game, so of course we'd vote in a new one. I gather, it's like a mayor role, but with a twist.

I considered this before the game startedm but dismissed it because Scum was not able to chat before D1, and there's nothing to stop Scum from outright lying about their vote.

things can be learned from it, it's almost like a lynch vote, once we find a couple of scum we might be able to backtrack, or at least get some ideas.

Why? I know scum could lie about who they voted for, but it would be hard for them to sustain that, surely? I mean, the votes are pretty evenly spread.

We're not asking who people didn't vote for. If four people say they voted for you for Mayor but you only have two votes then we grill those four. Maybe lynch a couple.

I voted Feck. My choice of Feck was twofold:

As scum, he's devious and difficult to read ... giving scum Feck regency would obligate him to account for his decisions and give us more opportunity to read him

As town, he's a more canny player than he (and maybe others) gives himself credit for. He often picks scum early game and this is an obviously useful quality in a regent.


That said, I'm happy with Aza as regent ... He'd have been my next pick, for the same reasons.

I admit i skipped the WoT OP and I assumed the news broke there. But, upon actually reading the OP, I can't figure out how we know who won the mayor vote . . .
