It means to accuse ,harass belittle insult and generally upset a suspected player ,to give them a good verbal spanking, to see if they crack and blurt out something incriminating .

to see sledging in action, the boy band mafia game, starting on day 2 is a pretty good example. I sledged Irre for a bit, then she sledged me, then I sledged her, etc. we were both convinced the other was scum despite all evidence to the contrary. for good measure, I sledged Jynx for a bit on day 3, too. He might have felt left out otherwise.

Meanwhile nobody sledged MZ at all and we thought butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. HA!
