This I think? Although I don't know what viewed means.
The mayor vote can be used to let the seer know who you want them to investigate. The seer gets one view a night and receive info about a players guilt or innocence.

For your question about what 'viewed' means, click on the 'roles' link and look up the role 'seer' ...

the role is called "Cop" at mafiascum.net. It's an investigative role. the seer/cop sends a PM to th GM asking to view a player each night. The GM will let the seer know that player's alignment. Caveats are that not all players view as what they really are. For instance, a mafia don will view as town. And a town miller will view as scum.

Sorry, it's listed under the 'roles' then 'cop' link. In most ratz games the role is known as 'seer'.
