I'm back, briefly.

Interesting that MZ wait for my absence to start his campaign on me. I have him as scum, and mantis. I have no idea why gib is hiding in mantis' shadow and being an echo for her, but that tells me one of them is scum. So I'm armed. Big deal. I get to stick around and put my votes on. My vote on gonzo both days was a good idea. The MZ scum idea of vote spreading sucks, as is becoming apparent most people.

Oblivion seems to drive this game, and she is mayor. I though she was town because she didn't attempt to push the mayor idea off of her, but now I'm wondering if it was just a great scum gambit to acquire double votes for the whole game.

Diva, I'll only say this once. UT is town. I cannot say why I know this. But you are on the wrong track. Stop trolley tracking and start paying attention, please.

I don't get why this is a pick on praying game, either (although should I say get bent to her for her comment about my TR game )

It is actually nice to be already dead, I get to speak my mind without worrying about being a scum target. Scum got to openly target me in thread.

MZ - why the fuck are you zero-ing in on me and my point tally? It makes me suspicious as hell of you. Oblivion's been cagey about just how many points were added to her, but I don't see any harrassment of her for it. I thought we were all agreed that the less scum knew about our passcodes, the better? I can tell you I'm armed - I've said it already - I even had a little tantrum about it! Apart from that, why the hell are you so determined to find out what W stands for in my codeword? I am keeping it secret for a very damn good reason - we do not know what scum know about the codewords, and how that might be used against us.

Campaign? I voted you for inconsistency in your posts. There was no campaign. How does the first vote on you = a campaign. I have 4 points and I've accused no one of starting a campaign on me.

I am no closer to knowing much at all except there is no way Irre is bussing gonzo. I've put myself in the irre=scum camp.

Everything I've seen about Oblivion indicates town. I'm trusting myself on this one.
Mantis still looks scummy to me. Having her on five points is interesting.
gib is being very diligent in analysing every post. maybe town.
diva, seems like her town game but I'm wary of her acting skills.
bolero, avoiding some fairly simple questions about her score. I am genuinely confused about whether she is armed. We have her down as armed, but I would like to hear it from her. She seems reluctant to share this. Scum I think.
Feck, basically claiming special. I think we give the benefit of the doubt on that for one night. Otherwise what right does he have to ask for protection.
I'll mention the aza thing. we really can't ignore this. If he's town, fine. If he's scum, he could be sitting on 5 points.
UT, undecided. But I will say he's been much more active in this game than I recall for a long time. This indicates some freedom in his role. He and I have promoted some different approaches to this game. I don't outright disagree with his approach. My only concern is leaving one player behind out of reach of being alarmed at end game.

I think the morning will reveal more. The votes applied by scum will have to be carefully chosen. If the vig wants to exercise some restraint, it could be very revealing.

ok MZ i've flipflopped on you a few times this game but this summary could virtually be plucked from my head at this stage. In fact the one i think is least accurate in that list is your entry on me - i'm not being diligent really, i'm kinda being lazy - the diligent thing would be for me to reread from the start but it's more fun catching up and replying to posts as i go. I'm still only up to here. So i'm kinda beachcombing, following in you guys' footsteps hoping i can pick up something that was missed.

@ob - this mz list matched my own thoughts like no post i seen in any game before ever. Let's get this town cabal going we always talked about. btw i've mentioned a few extra game bits from your migraine onwards - i wouldn't stoop to that as scum in a normal game let alone beta testing a variation, but i'm not above dragging that kinda stuff in for the good of town. How do you feel about that? also i think i know what you thought you could see earlier but i have to disappoint you there. Unfortunately.

I kinda feel like the GMs should let us know 1) if they are looking for a sub for Aza, 2) how long they'll let it ride, and 3) what they plan to do if they can't find a sub.

Town needs to know whether it's ok to just let Aza drift or not.

I think gib's posting in the wrong thread is more townish clueless. I'm leaning town on him.

OK, I had the benefit of reading the whole of day 1 after day 1 ended, with fresh eyes of being new to the game. I think charlou is legit, because she outed after clearly thinking long and hard about it (after aza's suggestion of a mass outing) and she got a pile of points overnight. I think oblivion is townish because she's been doing proper scum hunting (putting people under pressure, moving on to others). UT is someone that I have a good read on, because of how often we've played mafia together. Outing as a vanilla town I think helps town, though unless we think a mass outing is a good thing I don't recommend other vanilla towns out because then scum can special hunt more easily. Gib indicated a very townish thing that I note mantis has also picked up on. That gib didn't get a load of points overnight suggests to me that mantis is town.

MZ going after charlou today is so weird, even for MZ standards, so I have him as very suspicious. Bolero is pinging, too, following charlou but now putting her doubts about her. Gonzo, I know you'll never let me live down that vote for you on FF, but your game is quite different. I'll try not to trolley track on you, but so far my vote stays.

Aza needs to participate. His mass out idea is one I'd have had at that time in the game, because I tend not to read PG and rules much. I have done this game, just to get my head around this codeword and points thing.

I'd like more pressure on Gonzo. I can see why people are after mantis. I thought her seeing the same thing I saw about gib meant she was town, but gib has denied dropping a crumb, and in any case scum would have gunned for charlou, so she's not on my town list any more.

Going back and looking at this is interesting. there's an entanglement of you and mantis in her posts, and whatever it was that made her think you and mantis were town, she changed her mind. And yet she still says she thinks you are both town. she pursued Gonzo over mantis yesterday, and she reaffirmed that she thinks you are both town today.

I am leaning town wrt you, gib. I'm undecided about mantis. her posts since day 2 nightfall have looked far more townish to me than her earlier stuff.

The person I am most confused about is probably MZ. I have a feeling that I am confusing people also due to a lot of course changes and some frenzy about people changing directions abruptly at nightfall.

I know that the abrupt change stuff often comes from townish confusion, but it still leaves me very uneasy when things change drastically in the last half hour or so.

I don't know what you mean about game bits from my migraine onwards. I remember you saying something about my migraine late on day 1...maybe night 1. So, I don't know what I'm supposed to feel about, much less how.

I've been on serious sleep deprivation all week, but I just woke up from a 3 hour nap. maybe I'll be sharper now.

As far as what you think I (thought I) saw earlier...I'm seeing all kinds of shit. I'm pretty sure of some of it, but there's a lot that is probably mirage. It ripples and everything else rearranges. I hope the stuff I'm pretty sure of is real.
