Two absents, who in my opinion, get away with murder by doing so, but benefit of the doubt and I won't vote either of them.

I just think not commiting to the vote is scummy.
I do think if we get it wrong day 1, there is something to be gained.

[sarcasm]MagicZiggy's rules on Mafia suspicion (based on the games we shared here and on RatSkep):

1. Not Posting is scummy. fuck your timezones, real mafia players get up at 3:30 AM to catch up and smoke out scum. Action: Lynch vote the person.

2. Succinct Posting looks scummy. Action: Lynch vote the person.

3. Elaborative posts can either be deemed as fluff or scumflail. Action: Lynch the person.

4. Do not attack MZ directly or lynch vote him in return: Action: Lynch vote the person.

5. If MZ casts aspersions on someone, shouldn't you do the same? Action: Lynch vote the person.

6. MagicZiggy doesn't want you to assume he is town, if you do... Action: Lynch vote coming your way.

7. MagicZiggy doesn't want you to assume he might NOT be town, if you do... Action: Lynch vote courtesy of MZ

8. Respond to any post by MZ in ANY way, regardless of how offtopic, and he will find a way to illustrate it's scummines. Action: You're gonna get lynched.

9. Playing the game, yet refraining from accusing someone without proper evidence is bad in MZ's eyes. Ergo: you are probably scum and MZ is rarely wrong (according to MZ).

10. Do not seem overly-agreeing with Mz or anyone that cast a vote for a suspicious player. Because you demonstrated that you have no initiative of your own and you are going with their flow you are also by definition scummy. No, saying that you agree with their train of thought and reasoning is not an excuse, you are blindly voting. Action: You are scum and your ass is next on the line.

11. Do not say you are innocent. Do not post something that could be interpreted as a lie, but is not, and afterwards claim you are innocent. Do not ask to not be voted for, because you are innocent. Action: even though you are innocent, there is an apparant authority on mafia playing and style (which MZ is part of of course) and you will be lynched for not adopting the same style of play.

Conclusion: If MZ posts something about you, ignore it. Do not look him in the eyes, just back away slowly and try to change the topic by telling everyone that you are innocent (which assuming you are) or that "this shit is fucked up" as Budski pointed out (if you are scum).

I just broke rules 3, 4, 8 ,10 and 11 already so it seems I'm next.[/sarcasm]

twinkie didn't make a "revenge vote". Feral denies that his vote for Twinkie after she voted for him was revenge. However, that's going to be the interpretation that other players make most of the time, so it's good to be aware of that fact.

Personally, I don't let concerns about my vote being interpreted as revenge stop me if I think the person is scum. Finding and lynching scum what I'm supposed to be doing.

Hi oblivion, thanks for answering my questions, just a quick note: I know the day rounds end in an inconvenient time for me - that's why I asked about the proxies in the previous games. I'd much rather nominate a proxy than do nothing. I don't know how to get around this problem, but I will try not to leave the round in a manner that looks suspicious and cause fellow town members to focus on me and not the mafia.
