It might be a waste of a Seer view (assuming we have one ),If the person they view is armed already .... also it will only give a list of people who did not vote for them It doesn't cut the odds down much . Clever scum might have worked out this plan and covered themselves . you say that scum wouldn't bus a team member in a no reveal game ,but if you thought of this idea they might have too. It assumes a Seer would want to out at this stage .
It would be better for the Seer to investigate those he or she thinks are scummy in the hope of finding some , patterns in voting will then give the same info as Seering an already armed player .

But mostly since you pushed the idea out into the open we would now be looking for people that added their vote to a player (now known to scum) after they were armed or nearly . If I thought adding a vote to one of my scum team when they were on 5points would Clear me in the eyes of town I would do it .

lol, is that what he's on about? That's actually worse than trying to kill me at TR for something I said in this game.

Fuzzy, get bent, scum already have more of my letters than they should because of the mis OP on day 2, if you can provide a reason for you needing this info i'll consider it.
Curiousity! I'm in an uninformed majority and I want to get informed, darn it :lay:
Fuzzy, please tell the nice boys and girls why i picked up on the phrase 'get bent'.

I told you about 'get bent' a day or two ago on gtalk! If anything this makes me even more solipsistic.
I really hate it when there is an inside joke and someone has been asked to explain it and they don't. :bored:

Actually that's a decent point, especially if they feared that person had already been viewed.

Uselesstwit wrote:honestly, I've mostly changed my mind about gonzo and bolero, mantis is in the lead for me right now with irre really feeling like she could be scum. Also Ob, you've felt a little less townish today, pushing for votes to be dumped on more and more people just feels backwards for this game. Damn I really should have waited to out that plan about the seer, idk this game is messing with me.
It's messing with me, too. I think my play today has been kinda this way and that, because I keep bouncing between different theories about what is going on, and based on those theories, sometimes vote spreading looks good, and sometimes not.

The huge difference in visible night action results between yesterday and today - I can't really come up with a scenario that fully accounts for that. I'm hoping tonight's results clarify some things, and I hope there's sufficient time left to get our act together if we're on the wrong track.

I think I agree about mantis, though her posting today has been far more townish than earlier. Irre is another read that could clarify some stuff, though if she's scum she's probably assumed that she'll be viewed.

Am I the only one who thinks this is oh so scummy it is not funny?

If a seer outs themselves I guarantee that scum will be all over them, trying to arm them to the point where their investigative abilities are useless.

And you never answered my question. What do you think of MZ figuring out that you are "authorised". You are not necessarily the only person it could have been.

I haven't read everything, skimmed but since the idea of not viewing armed plAyers has come what do people think of my idea that it would/would have behoove scum to arm one oftheir own, making that person appear as town and trying to steer the game?

Would they risk that, particularly early in the game, given the numerical disadvantage? I can think of a couple of players who might be able to pull off the looking like town part, but neither of them were armed on night 2.

in before scary-good scum game or w/e.
