The more I think about it the more i'm starting to suspect irre. The vote thing last night as well as deciding to arm gonzo today is really feeling like a scum taking advantage of an opportunity.

Irre and feck.

IMO we need to bury both of them under votes today.

They're both offline which is part of the reason why I'm not voting yet. I'm reluctant to vote for irre if she won't be back at all today. I've been in a position in previous games of being town and lynched while I was offline and unable to make a case against my lynching.

i'm up to here and the server is really shit, have to resubmit posts a few times now

about irre, I won't claim to be able to read her perfectly but I did have my vote on her for most of yesterday because of what felt like faux scumhunting.

Fuzzy, get bent, scum already have more of my letters than they should because of the mis OP on day 2, if you can provide a reason for you needing this info i'll consider it.

I would like an opinion about the block on me and the block on Charlou being the same scum blocker.
For me it completely clears Charlou and removes any doubt about her alignment and role.
Therefore if anyone can switch points, they should look at Charlou as she is the only outed special.
I realise it doesn't clear me.

I believe it is the same blocker. I could hazard a guess who will be blocked next.

I wouldn't discount the possibility of a blocker on both sides, either .. just going by things people have said.

Actually, I could be reading stuff into posts that isn't there and adding unnecessary wifom ... Going by what's been revealed by MZ and myself, there's at least one blocker ... Of that we can be sure.

If there is only one blocker what happen night 1 when you said you protected raven but she got hit anyway and someone else, I forget who reported being blocked? The explanation being you were blocked also?


Really it would behoove scum to arm one of their own so that person appears as a town person since they got armed with night moves. They then can then try to steer things how they want. That could be our friendly neighborhood oblivion. Like I said she is good at playing a town friendly scum game. Sorry raven these thoughts just popped in, my cannon went off

I think we have two players that we need to try and neutralize if at all possible. Irre is one. The results of last night's votes and the mad scramble of the last half hour has been bothering me ever since. Even if it was inadvertant, IMO it was a bad result for town.

Praying is the other one. She's a loose cannon.

Town needs to be sure that whatever our will is for the night results, it is a big enough majority that scum and town loose cannons can't sway it another direction.

I'm singling praying and irre out as examples of two different dangerous players. they are examples, not the sum total of the problem.

They are in this game until the vests detonate. They can do damage every single day.

Raven though I think you are town I know you can play an awfully good, look like town scum game.

you haven't seen my scum game in nearly a year. I'm sick and tired of hearing about my legendary scum game. I don't KNOW what my scum game is like. I've played ONE scum game in 2011, and I sucked at it.

I also know that your hunting abilities have been way out of whack the last several games, so between the two I am thinking town should not put all their eggs in your game basket.

You said shit like this in the Malazan game a few weeks ago when I FoSed/voted you. what was your alignment again? Oh yeah. Scum.

This style of counter attack, undermining the person who foSes/votes you is thing about your interaction with MZ that pings, because I've seen you do it very recently as scum, and it's fairly new in your gameplay.

My thoughts are we should attempt to play this game as close to as a normal mafia game as possible.

Agree, but we can't ignore the effects of the design in our gameplay.

That said why am I a loose cannon, because I think mz's crack pot plan of voting for people just to get them to two points is stupid? Or because I haven't voted with the sheeple?

because you tend to put votes on non-bandwagons and sometimes stay stuck on them for days, which has little impact in a regular mafia game, but depending on how long this game lasts, you may be able to get a person close to armed all by yourself and then scum can finish them off near endgame if you happen to be wrong about them. Also, sheeple. Sweet burn, praying.

Here is my list of scum suspects
Mz already given reasons but add to that his/her dumb plan
Gib he's posting but it is inconsqential stuff
Fuzzy same as above but more so but I am not sure if that is just fuzzy's playing style or he isusing the strange game setup to hide under with that.

I certainly could have, but I don't recall anything specific. It's just a polite way to say f-off i'm not giong to tell you that.

Man, I just don't have time to keep up with these timed games, honestly. I'm always way behind then have to go do something before I'm caught up.

I see that Irre has me voted to be armed, but she has provided little reasoning why besides 'just cause'. Ob's pushing the same line of reasoning - asking others why I should be voted for rather than providing her own reasons.

MZ I'm comfortable with my vote on - he says his mining for codewords was out of paranoia and pointing out Feck's was just stating the obvious, but I beg to differ. He's still given no reason for accusing me of lying about my point value yesterday and I am convinced he never had one. It was to back me into the corner the same he did to charlou to 'verify' her claim. Otherwise he's advocating that we 'spread votes around'. As far as I can tell, that is a scum tactic in a game like this when the objective is to get the most players possible close to the edge of being armed. A town player, in my opinion, should be scum hunting as usual and voting for who they think appears most scummy.

But, I've backed off, for now, and in fact am not happy that Irre has a vote on you atm. Her play today, which has been hella scummy, suggests to me that you are probably not on her team if she is scum.

As much as this is going to annoy diva, I'm changing my position again. What do people think of having the seer view someone that is already armed that we're mostly sure is scum? If that person really is scum we'll find out all sorts of info because i'll be money that scum wouldn't have bussed their own in a nonreveal game. Thoughts?

agreed, which is why I stipulated that we need to be pretty sure it's a scum they target. If we can do that we could very well clear 3 or 4 players in one fell swoop. And yes I'm bumping this because I want more opinions on it.

honestly, I've mostly changed my mind about gonzo and bolero, mantis is in the lead for me right now with irre really feeling like she could be scum. Also Ob, you've felt a little less townish today, pushing for votes to be dumped on more and more people just feels backwards for this game. Damn I really should have waited to out that plan about the seer, idk this game is messing with me.
