If this game truly is vanilla+ in the sense of the 2+2 forum (not many specials) a mass out is probably not a good idea. If we have reason to believe that it is not vanilla+ but has a high proportion of specials (e.g. >33%), a mass out is a good idea.

I'd like to suggest another thing for consideration: seer cover (pros: keeps views from dying with a seer, cons: helps scum narrow down the field, hard to do well). For example:

I'm not outing as seer nor am I saying I got a randomized N0 view. But if I did get a randomized N0 view, I viewed dp as scum.

What exactly are you saying? Spreading WIFOM is scum's job. Did you get a scum view on DP or not?

What I said is quite exact but seer cover probably is a new concept at TR/Ratz that will take some getting used to.

In the 2+2 forum (where I've read games but never played), it can happen that a few players (maybe including a real seer, maybe not) post statements of the form "if I'm the seer, I viewed players X as Y". It's a town strategy. The purpose is to allow a seer to report views without outing. The downside is that any incorrect view report helps scum dismiss that player when seer hunting.##

Hmmm, it's an elegant solution to the problem of a seer outing their views safely, when they die we look back at their view claims. But as you're seeing people jump on a seer claim and when I flip town you become suspect.

But since it won't work with only one person saying it:

Actually diva I'm not sure we're supposed to just pile on. Linus is not stating a fact. I get the subtlety there.
