charlou, iirc fuzzy has 3 voted points on him. he is in reach of being armed if his curiosity looks anti town. for now I think we have better targets.

like irre. and feck.

fwiw the vote switcher/remover folks have better targets than me imo.

you do like to characterize don't you. I am not following UT, if anything he/she is following me, cause I objected to that plan of yours when you said it, before UT posted about it.

now and this is going to be (I think) my last post of the evening, as far as my reaction to your vote...I was not reacting to the vote, I was reacting to the mischaracterization of my posting, which you claim was your not being clear and had to do with my only having one point.

For the love gawd Ob, if you are not a magnet for scum, then who are you a magnet for? Are you trying to mindfuck me or something?

Did you gain points? Isn't that good news? Your post read sarcastic so I assumed it was scum. :?

I see that I am operating on quite a few assumptions here based on my read of posts and I am going to rethink them.

The only other thing that I can think of is that it that:

Scum put points on you and UT. UT ended the day with only one on his roster (he had 2 removed the night before) so unless his were set back to 0, which I guess it is entirely possible, but that would mean he redistributed a point to you, which is entirely possible but why if you are already under scum surveillance. That is assuming that is also assuming that UT is the vig who is doing this, if it is not UT then someone is looking out for him. In order for this to work there would have to be a scumblocker and that would be good to know if that were a possibility or not.

Or scum and a vig put points on you both, but that would still mean the vig is suspect I think unless they thought that you or UT were guilty (which is what I am leaning towards).

Did anybody else have any town night actions? Were they blocked? Did they succeed? I am hesitant to ask these questions because I don't think we need any more specials to out themselves (unless it is absolutely necessary) because then scum can just lay the points on them. But that makes me wonder as to why did Charlou's letter not change. :? I know that she is armed. but does it take more points to deactivate her special skill? I don't know, I am just throwing that out there. The more I think about it the more I am starting to think that the scum role was blocked and we are looking at a vig action. It says that there is a possibility of recruitment, so maybe the scum recruited somebody instead of adding points? That is a possibility, too. If that is the case, definitely look for someone who FOSed somebody previously to have a dramatic change of heart. I know from experience.
I don't know where to start with your posts so far this game day, diva. I think I'll summarise it with two points .. you don't seem to understand the codeword/point tally system (and if I understood you correctly, you said this was the case?), and you seem to have missed things along the way wrt evaluations that have already been made in previous discussion, so are on a completely different track with your thinking. I'm not sure what to think about how this swings you on the town/scum scale for me. At the moment benefit of the doubt because it looks genuine and can be thought of as understandable given the unusual nature of the game, but I advise you to make the time to reread the game threads if you can and report any changes in thinking or additional thoughts you have.

That is correct. I voted you because you only had one point.
My vote is now on another player in a similar position but for a different reason.
I actually think Irre is scum, where as for you the vote was insurance.

Fair point ... and apologies for my comment .. on rereading it comes off as more than a tad patronising which wasn't my intention.

GM NOTE

The day will be 24 hours as previously hoped for. It seems that the DNS issues have cleared up enough to allow normal posting again.

Day will end at Noon EST tomorrow.

praying, comes off as defensively passive aggressive which doesn't do her any favours, but I think that's her style and not unlike her town game last time. Does anyone know what her scum game is like?

I think we have two players that we need to try and neutralize if at all possible. Irre is one. The results of last night's votes and the mad scramble of the last half hour has been bothering me ever since. Even if it was inadvertant, IMO it was a bad result for town.

Praying is the other one. She's a loose cannon.

Town needs to be sure that whatever our will is for the night results, it is a big enough majority that scum and town loose cannons can't sway it another direction.

I'm singling praying and irre out as examples of two different dangerous players. they are examples, not the sum total of the problem.

They are in this game until the vests detonate. They can do damage every single day.

it's her town game IMO. Her scum game is more self-possessed and less reactive.

that said, her tack as scum these days is to undermine the people who FoS and vote her rather than to defend herself, so I do think there are a few warning signs here.

Bolero, way way back, I asked you what number W stood for you. I still want to know.
