hhhhmmmmmm, okay, we have three officers, one of whom is claiming not to have been an invitee. this is officially a mess. have any of the other outs been people not attending the party?
also contra, you might have noticed we weren't fully outing, you could have just said officer, actually that might not have helped since we're only supposed to have two.
contra might be right though, our kill notices might be prescripted instead of clues.

Whatever, man. I guess the post-mortem will prove either of us right or wrong as soon as the Agency finishes killing our asses.amok wrote:All that is irrelevant. Mafia isn't reliant on flavour; flavour is just an added twist. And I don't believe Gonzo would sacrifice facts for flavour. If he did, I simply don't know what to say. If logic doesn't count, what's the point?Contrapposto wrote:Seriously, people. I'm really sorry your mommies didn't let you buy Hitman 2: Blood Money. Really.amok wrote:Those are the people who lynched Diva, and Gonzo said Agent 47 killed Diva.irretating wrote:You's smart, amok. Please humour me. How do you arrive at your list of possibles for agent 47 ?
How can I put this?
GONZO WAS QUOTING A SCRIPT VERBATIM. A FUCKING STORY LINE YOU KNOW FOR FLAVOR???
You see video games nowadays have story lines, or plots, and shit like that.
Now you idiots want to mass claim like you did in the only other game I ever played here and WE LOST THEN TOO!
Anyway, CONGRATS. You just outed your fucking employer...
I am Alexander Leland Cayne (officer) - Franchise - Role Blocker
I am not an invited attendee. I head the competing organization which has hired assassins to kill 47 at the party.
47 is the only player immune to my block.
I was suspicious of diva last night so I blocked her. A kill still happened. So I concluded that she must be scum after the whole PM thing.
Anyway, right after we discover 5 people claiming "guest" then I suppose we have our man among those guys.

What would be the point of that? I'm willing to be convinced, but good grief, what would be the point? It would be disinformation.Uselesstwit wrote:contra might be right though, our kill notices might be prescripted instead of clues.
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

It's quite obvious that gib and Ob would have ganged up to lynch me had i not fully claimed...claiming was an inevitability.Uselesstwit wrote:hhhhmmmmmm, okay, we have three officers, one of whom is claiming not to have been an invitee. this is officially a mess. have any of the other outs been people not attending the party?

Please keep it short so those of us who actually sleep can read it tomorrow. In other words as I heard some years back "If you got something to say, shut up."

The "guests" all need to out. I have an idea.

it is. but I'm not ruling out disinformation at this point.amok wrote:What would be the point of that? I'm willing to be convinced, but good grief, what would be the point? I'm going to take a couple hours break. my mood is in the way of looking at this shit at all objectively.
Matt, you're not contributing jack shit anyway. let the people trying to figure this shit out get on with it.

the point is this isn't ratskept, it's very very rare for the gm to hand out clues here. in fact i've never seen a game here give the info away that your theory would imply. so i'm kinda liking the idea that we were assigned death sequences with our roles instead of being given a puzzle to figure out. especially a puzzle that could be figured out with a few as two lynch votes.

Nah contra, it might appear clicky, but it's just a gib thing that he sometimes tries (usually more successful when he's actually town). I had to you down as town.Contrapposto wrote:It's quite obvious that gib and Ob would have ganged up to lynch me had i not fully claimed...claiming was an inevitability.Uselesstwit wrote:hhhhmmmmmm, okay, we have three officers, one of whom is claiming not to have been an invitee. this is officially a mess. have any of the other outs been people not attending the party?

so we have diva, irre, amok, linus and aza lining up as guests. Gonzo told us to be on the lookout for a suspicious guest (aza?)

Wasn't gonzo's last game experimental?Uselesstwit wrote:the point is this isn't ratskept, it's very very rare for the gm to hand out clues here. in fact i've never seen a game here give the info away that your theory would imply. so i'm kinda liking the idea that we were assigned death sequences with our roles instead of being given a puzzle to figure out. especially a puzzle that could be figured out with a few as two lynch votes.

We need to know the 4th and 5th guest claiming. Remember If we had all mass claimed day one then we should have had 6 "guests" claiming, theoretically. Like we would have had 3 VIP claims and 3 officer claims.irretating wrote:Nah contra, it might appear clicky, but it's just a gib thing that he sometimes tries (usually more successful when he's actually town). I have an idea but I can't say any more. i just hope everyone knows what to do tonight.
Re: Hitman: Blood Money Mafia - A Dance With The Devil (Part
I can shed some light. I'm a VIP.
With Charlou's death (as a VIP), i was shocked. Forgive my memory from a quick read, but was it UT who also claims VIP?
That's 3 VIPs, one was Scum.
Now we look at the officers. There's supposed to be 2, right? But we have 3 claims.
If this fits the mold like it did for VIPs, than we we have 1 lying officer.
Given Contra's admission of having no invitation, I think we know who needs to go to test this.
Also, on the Kill Message front, Town always gets killed by Scum, Scum always gets killed by Town. Unless we see a breach in that standard, I think we can disregard that part of the flavor.
There were questions for me as well, I'll read back now and try to get to them..
